Iprede conclui ciclo do Projeto Vai Maria com desfile especial na Praça da Imprensa

O projeto Vai Maria, que resgata o potencial de mães e cuidadoras de crianças atendidas pela instituição IPREDE (Instituto da Primeira Infância), participa de um desfile que acontece na feira Babado Coletivo, no dia 13 de dezembro, às 19h, na Praça da Imprensa. O desfile concretiza o segundo ciclo do trabalho realizado com os cursos oferecidos pela instituição.

O Vai Maria está na ativa desde março de 2018 e fornece aulas teóricas e práticas de corte e costura, moda e criação, além de promover encontros que trabalham as ideias das participantes. O principal objetivo do projeto é transformar a vida das participantes de forma positiva. O curso se divide em dois ciclos, o primeiro ciclo do projeto foi encerrado com um desfile das mães, vestidas com as primeiras peças produzidas por elas, no anfiteatro do IPREDE.

Mãe participante do projeto, Francisca Patrícia de Oliveira, demonstra sua felicidade de participar do projeto. “Aqui não aprendemos só a costurar roupas, aprendemos a costurar nossos sonhos.”, afirma.

O segundo ciclo se encerra com a formatura de mais uma turma de 15 alunas. O projeto foi financiado pelo Criança Esperança e as alunas puderam visitar fábricas, trocar ideias com artistas, estilistas e grandes nomes da moda cearense e agora vão desfilar sua própria coleção, “Brasilidade”, no Babado Coletivo.

Durante os três dias de feira, o IPREDE terá um estande no qual serão vendidas peças produzidas pelas mães do projeto e toda a renda obtida será revertida para a criação do negócio social Vai Maria. Uma confecção que destinará sua renda para a sustentabilidade do próximo ciclo do projeto e gerando renda às mães participantes.
