A pesquisadora e produtora cultural Paula Silveira, lança, nesta terça-feira, 08 de março, às 19h, no espaço A CASA É SUA o livro “Mestres da Cultura Cearense, a tradução das tradições” fruto de um projeto de mesmo nome, contemplado através da Lei Aldir Blanc. O livro tem por foco as histórias de vida das mestras e mestres da cultura cearense e sobretudo na forma como as tradições são transmitidas e traduzidas, de geração em geração.

Ao todo foram escolhidos 30 depoimentos de forma a contemplar o maior número de regiões do estado, tendo como base a questão geográfica, de modo a facilitar a logística e execução do projeto. A obra, também, conta com a colaboração de cinco pesquisadores e estudiosos da cultura popular e patrimônio cultural que compartilharam seus conhecimentos no livro, com relatos das gravações que acompanharam ou mesmo dos seus estudos e experiências culturais.

Para Paula Silveira, idealizadora e coordenadora do projeto, esta é uma forma de homenagear esses grandes ícones da cultura popular, que guardam parte importante do legado histórico, cultural e simbólico do Ceará. “É um projeto de registro dos saberes e fazeres dessas mestras e mestres que tanto fizeram e fazem pela nossa cultura popular. Além disso, é uma contribuição para o reconhecimento, a salvaguarda e a valorização de conhecimentos, fazeres e expressões da cultura cearense”, afirma Paula.
