Com texto de Ricardo Guilherme e direção de Pedro Domingues, nomes de referência das artes cênicas no Brasil, o espetáculo “Tempo Temporão – O Terreiro da Catirina” leva os saberes ancestrais femininos da Cultura Popular Tradicional, para o Centro Cultural do Banco do Nordeste em duas apresentações, nos próximos dias 12 e 13 de março, a partir das 18 horas.
A peça traduz a resistência feminina da cultura popular e suas adversidades, por meio de uma narrativa centrada nas experiências da trajetória de vida de uma vó, Catirina, e no repasse destes saberes ancestrais para a neta Pichititinha, interpretadas por Edneia Tutti e Amália Morais, respectivamente. Toda a marcação das cenas conta com a sonorização musical do músico Zéis.
Ao modo de uma saga, o espetáculo evoca e homenageia os sentimentos, emoções e lutas para a afirmação de uma identidade cultural. Um desejo de exuberância que motiva o fio de uma existência e que ultrapassa o tempo de uma vida, supera a barreira da morte e revive na descendência que perpetua tradições e esperanças. “A peça desperta no espectador o olhar e o saber feminino que a mulher tem na forma de tratar as coisas”, afirma o diretor Pedro Domingues.
