Uma homenagem ao ex-beatle George Harrison, com músicas de sua obra gravada com o quarteto de Liverpool e com muitas canções de sua carreira solo. Assim é o show especial “George Harrison em Blues”

O show reúne grandes nomes da cena blues cearense – os guitarristas Felipe Cazaux, Roberto Lessa (da banda Blues Label e da Gumbo Blues) e Claudio Oliveira (da banda Puro Malte) e o baterista Marcelo Holanda, outro nome de destaque em vários grupos de blues, rock, pop e jazz, a músicos de destaque de bandas cover de Beatles atuantes em Fortaleza: o guitarrista Eduardo Neves, da Rubber Soul, o pianista Marcio Holanda e o contrabaixista Renan Elias, ambos da Sargento Pimenta. Idealizador e produtor do projeto, o compositor Dalwton Moura completa o time, no violão de aço.

O espetáculo celebra a trajetória de George Harrison, que em fevereiro de 2023 chegaria aos 80 anos. George se despediu em 29 de novembro de 2001, vítima de um câncer, após deixar uma obra vasta e diversificada, nos discos com os Beatles, em sua carreira solo (em que chegou a ser o ex-beatle mais bem-sucedido), em sua contribuição à divulgação da música indiana no Ocidente, na realização do primeiro grande show de rock beneficente (o Concerto para Bangladesh, em 1971), no apoio a produções de cinema e na influência por uma busca de vida mais coerente e em comunhão com a natureza, o autoconhecimento, a jardinagem, a meditação.

Um super time de músicos cearenses foi arregimentado especialmente para essa homenagem, no palco do Cineteatro São Luiz, a um dos maiores guitarristas da história, autor de canções eternas como “Something”, “Here comes the sun” e”While my guitar gently weeps”, mas também de muitas composições de influência blueseira, como “Taxman”, “Old brown shoe”,”I me mine” e “For you blue”. 

Assim, o público vai poder curtir novos arranjos, tecidos coletivamente pelo grupo, para superclássicos como os já citados, mas também para músicas como “I want to tell you” (do disco “Revolver”, de 1966), “Give me love”, “My sweet Lord”, “Beware of darkness”, “Bangla Desh”,”Wah Wah”, sucessos dos primeiros álbuns e compactos lançados por Harrison em carreira solo, no começo dos anos 70.
