O encerramento da 8ª edição do Festival Internacional de Arte Urbana – Festival Concreto acontece em Fortaleza entre os dias 18 e 26 de novembro, celebrando a arte urbana e promovendo diversas intervenções no complexo Cidade Jardim II, localizado no bairro José Walter, no entorno do Rio Cocó. A edição, que teve início em novembro de 2021, em sua primeira fase trouxe destaques como a MasterClass “Muito longe da zona de conforto” com Onesto; sessão de autógrafos com Eduardo Afriacano; Visita Guiada a BECE.

Além disso, o Festival também realizou intervenções artísticas em parceria com artistas internacionalmente renomados. Prédios, ruas, alamedas e muros, ganharam mais cor e vida através das obras dos artistas alemães Doppeldenk (@doppeldenk) e Manuel Gerullis, dos espanhóis Asem Navarro (@asemnavarro) e Rode, da colombiana Gleo da Colômbia (@gleo_co) e da mexicana Mônica Loya (@monicaloya), além de outros artistas.

Agora em novembro, a partir dessa sexta-feira, 18, o evento continua suas atividades de encerramento levando mais oficinas de arte, feirinhas, apresentações musicais e muita arte urbana para os cerca de 22 mil moradores do complexo. Através de uma ampla e diversificada programação, o Festival espera fomentar a apreciação artística e aproximá-la do público geral, partindo do conceito de que manifestações artísticas devem ocupar os espaços urbanos e estarem cada vez mais próximas da população, e de que não é preciso sair de seu espaço de convivência ou do estado para consumir arte.

Foi pensando em impactar públicos de diferentes idades que o Festival Concreto consolidou sua programação de encerramento no Cidade Jardim II. Pinturas de murais, tours pelo complexo, masterclasses, apresentações musicais, ações infantis, projeções cinematográficas e espaços como a Midiateca Concreto, um ônibus adaptado com brinquedoteca, biblioteca, DVDteca e acesso à internet, fazem parte das ações promovidas. Além disso, há ainda aula de yoga, conversa com profissionais da saúde, oficina de gastronomia e feirinhas criativas com vendedores da comunidade, tudo pensado para que o Festival possa contemplar a todos e fortalecer o Cidade Jardim II.

Narcélio Grud, artista e idealizador do evento, explica a importância de inserir a arte nos mais diversos espaços e contextos urbanos, inclusive em espaços públicos e residenciais de convivência. “A ideia do Concreto parte muito da noção de que todas as pessoas devem ter direito ao acesso à arte e que aquilo que entendemos como arte é um universo muito complexo, que vai além de espaços tradicionais como museus, galerias e exposições”, pontua.
