Festival Internacional de Arte Urbana – Além da Rua realiza pinturas artísticas no Pecém, em São Gonçalo do Amarante
Velas de jangadas e espaços públicos – ruas, praças e muros – do Pecém, distrito de São Gonçalo do Amarante, vão ganhar mais cores nesta primeira quinzena de dezembro. É o Além da Rua – Festival Internacional de Arte Urbana, que está de 05 a 10 de dezembro com 11 artistas do Brasil (Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e Santa Catarina) e de mais três países – Argentina, França e Etiópia – realizando intervenções artísticas na cidade. Além das pinturas, no último dia do festival, haverá a 2ª exposição internacional de velas ao mar, onde as 15 velas de jangadas dos pescadores da comunidade serão expostas na praia com passeio no mar e uma feira com empreendedores locais e apresentações artísticas com grupos de tradição.
Durante os seis dias de atividades, a comunidade e os visitantes de São Gonçalo do Amarante vão poder conferir, ao vivo, as pinturas sendo feitas pelos artistas Amanda Nunes, que assina suas obras como Crimes Passionais (Ceará), Zé Victor (Ceará), Narah Adjane (Ceará), Charles Lessa (Crato/Ceará), Gen Duarte (São Paulo), Gugie (Santa Catarina), Piá (Rio de Janeiro), Solomon Kifle (Etiópia), Loraine Motti (França) e DROM, uma dupla de muralistas integrada por Jamaira Pacheco (Bahia) e Santiago Panichelli (Argentina).
As intervenções artísticas serão realizadas em 11 muros de moradores e comércios no entorno da avenida São Luiz de Gonzaga e da Rua Júlio Viana, no Calçadão da Praia, e em 15 velas de jangadas de pescadores da comunidade, assim como na primeira edição do festival no Pecém, em 2019.
No sábado, dia 10 de dezembro, a programação inicia às 7h30 da manhã com a saída das 15 jangadas para o passeio no mar, com suas velas customizadas pelos artistas. Elas poderão ser vistas ao longo do dia, dando mais cores ao horizonte praieiro. Já à tarde, por volta das 16h, acontecerá no calçadão da Praia do Pecém a feira Flor do Campo, com empreendedores locais e, ao pôr do sol, apresentações de grupos de tradição de São Gonçalo do Amarante, como Dança do Coco, Capoeira, entre outros.
O Além da Rua – Festival Internacional de Arte Urbana acontece desde 2010 no Ceará, com a participação de diversos artistas, linguagens e formatos, tendo sempre como eixo a arte urbana e suas conexões com a cidade. Desde 2019 tem ações ainda mais conectadas com as comunidades litorâneas, tendo realizado no Pecém a primeira exposição internacional de velas, com 15 artistas locais, nacionais e internacionais, ocasião em que também fez intervenções artísticas em muros da localidade, pinturas estas que podem ser vistas até hoje. Agora, em 2022, retorna à região com novas cores e velas, contribuindo ainda mais para a conexão da arte urbana com a comunidade, transformando a relação entre as novas gerações e suas tradições.
O projeto Além da Rua é apresentado pelo Ministério do Turismo e a AECIPP – Associação das Empresas do Complexo Industrial e Portuário do Pecém, através da Lei Federal de Incentivo à Cultura. Patrocínio: Instituto Aço Cearense, EDP, Tecer, DSM e DASS. Apoio: Cimento Apodi, NST e Prefeitura Municipal de São Gonçalo do Amarante. Tem a Suvinil como tinta oficial. Realização: Ato Marketing Cultural, Acidum Project, Secretaria Especial da Cultura, Ministério do Turismo e Governo Federal.
