Como será a programação do 25º Festival Jazz & Blues

Com shows, bate-papos, homenagens, oficinas e ações ambientais, o tradicional Festival Jazz & Blues anuncia como será a programação desta edição comemorativa de 25 anos, que acontecerá de 10 a 13 de fevereiro (Carnaval) em Guaramiranga, Ceará. Uma novidade nesta edição é a gratuidade de 100% das atividades. Para o acesso aos shows, o festival sugere a doação de 1Kg de alimento por pessoa. Todo o material arrecadado será doado para o programa Ceará sem Fome, do Governo do Estado. Para o show das 21h na Cidade Jazz & Blues, estrutura erguida anualmente no espaço do Estádio Municipal Jean Bardawil, o público deverá retirar ingresso gratuito na plataforma Sympla ou na bilheteria do local.

 

Abertura oficial na noite de sexta-feira

 

A abertura oficial do Festival será na noite de sexta-feira, 09 de fevereiro, às 19h, na Pousada dos Capuchinhos. Na ocasião, será inaugurado no local, em parceria com a Cegás, um monumento em homenagem ao artista cearense Belchior, falecido em 2017. A Orquestra de Sopros de Pindoretama apresentará um Tributo a Belchior.

 

A ligação do homenageado com Guaramiranga é um capítulo especial na sua história. Após completar os estudos secundários em Sobral, onde nasceu em 1946, Belchior foi seminarista no então Mosteiro dos Capuchinhos. Depois disso, estudou medicina em Fortaleza, curso que abandonou no quarto ano para seguir a carreira artística, tornando-se um ícone da música brasileira. Para receber o monumento, confeccionado pelo artista Narcélio Grud, a Pousada dos Capuchinhos inaugura o Café Belchior, com ambientação que remete ao período em que o artista ali viveu.

 

Café no Tom às 11h de sábado a segunda-feira no Basílico Restaurante

 

O Café no Tom, tradicional bate-papo com algumas atrações do dia, acontecerá de sábado (10) a segunda-feira (12) no Basílico Restaurante, localizado na Praça do Teatro Municipal de Guaramiranga, com a mediação do jornalista Dalwton Moura. No sábado, a conversa será com dois convidados, o percussionista baiano Marco Lobo e o acordeonista Nonato Lima; no domingo, o encontro será com Jane Duboc e Nico Rezende; e na segunda-feira, será a vez da cantora Indiana Nomma e o pianista Osmar Milito.

 

Shows às 17h de sábado a segunda-feira na Cidade Jazz & Blues

 

No sábado, dia 10, o baterista Pantico Rocha abre a programação na Cidade Jazz & Blues apresentando o show autoral “A Sorte está Lançada”, com repertório afro-pop-rock com pitadas de funk. Com ele no palco do festival, os músicos Misael Silva e Felipe Facó (guitarras) e Wanderley Freitas (baixo). Em seguida, o show é de Marco Lobo Quinteto, grupo formado por Marco Lobo (percussão), Erivelton Silva (Bateria), Gastão Villeroy (baixo), Kiko Continentino (teclado) e Marcelo Martins (sax e flauta), apresentando músicas dos três CDs solos do percussionista.

 

No domingo, dia 11, a sessão das 17h começa com o pianista Tito Freitas e Thesco Carvalho, trombonista, apresentando o show “Inspirações”, com  Filipe Mota (contrabaixo) e Michael da Silva (bateria). O show seguinte é de muito blues e gêneros afins nas vozes e guitarras de Felipe Cazaux e Rayane Fortes, com PH Barcellos (bateria), Renato Cazzolli (baixo), Fernando Lélis e Jorge Doudement (saxofones) e Cláudio Arroz “Mr. Rice” (trompete).

 

No dia 12, o primeiro show será “Unexpected”, da cantora hondurenha radicada no Brasil,  Indiana Nomma e Osmar Milito, pianista brasileiro de extensa carreira ao lado de grandes nomes da música internacional. Eles se apresentam com um time de cearenses formado por Nélio Costa (contrabaixo acústico), Alex Moreira (trompete) e André Benedecti (bateria). Quem encerra a sessão das 17h no dia 12 é o cantor americano Omar Coleman e Igor Prado, guitarrista paulista que traz ao festival sua nova banda TJR, composta por três pesos pesados do estilo: Ted Furtado (contrabaixo), Juninho Isidoro (bateria) e Rodolfo Crepaldi (guitarra). Eles apresentam um show de clássicos do blues, do soul e do funk, além de algumas músicas do álbum produzido em conjunto, por Omar Coleman e Igor Prado, que serão apresentadas em primeira mão.

 

Shows às 21h de sábado a segunda-feira na Cidade Jazz & Blues

 

Quem abre a sessão das 21h no sábado, dia 10, é o acordeonista Nonato Lima, com o show “Sertão Jazz”, ao lado de Stênio Gonçalves (guitarra e violão), Miqueias dos Santos (contrabaixo) e Michael da Silva (bateria). Na sequência, Olivia e Francis Hime apresentam “Dois Franciscos”, com a participação do violoncelista Hugo Pilger.

 

A sessão das 21h no domingo, dia 11, começa com a homenagem do festival Jazz & Blues ao cantor e compositor Rodger Rogério, mestre da geração que se tornaria conhecida por “Pessoal do Ceará”. Logo após ele apresenta o espetáculo “80 anos – Bossa, Jazz e Algo Mais”, em que destaca seu lado de intérprete e revisita influências. Com Rodger no palco, estará a banda formada por Tito Freitas (teclado), Alex Moreira (trompete), Nélio Costa (contrabaixo acústico), André Benedecti (bateria) e o maestro Luciano Franco (guitarra), que é também o arranjador deste espetáculo. Na sequência, o festival recebe no palco Nico Rezende e Jane Duboc para o show “Clássicos do Jazz”, onde resgatam também sucessos autorais de suas carreiras. Na primeira parte do show, Nico Rezende (voz e piano) será acompanhado por Vander Nascimento (trompete e flughelhorn), Nélio Costa (contrabaixo acústico) e Paulinho Santos (bateria). Na segunda parte, Jane Duboc (voz e violão), uma das grandes referências da música brasileira, canta e toca ao lado de Nico Rezende.

 

No dia 12, segunda-feira, a sessão das 21h começa com Egberto Gismonti, um dos grandes mestres da música do Brasil para o mundo, em show solo. Encerrando a programação na Cidade Jazz & Blues desta edição, tem o encontro do instrumentista e compositor Manassés de Sousa e Pablo Fagundes, gaitista, em um show inédito, acompanhados Miqueias dos Santos (baixo), Tito Freitas (piano) e Adriano Azevedo (bateria).

 

Terça-feira: Matinal nas Igrejas e show na Praça do Teatro Municipal

 

Na terça-feira, dia 13, acontece a programação Matinal nas Igrejas. Às 9h, na Igreja da Gruta, o baixista Nélio Costa e Tito Freitas, pianista, fazem homenagem ao grande pianista e compositor João Donato, relembrando alguns sucessos do artista com uma roupagem adaptada para o duo de baixo e piano. Na Igreja Matriz, às 11h, o saxofonista Thiago Rocha e Stênio Gonçalves, guitarrista, apresentam “Perspectiva”, um show que passeia pelo funk, o soul, o samba e suas derivações, e marca a estreia de músicas autorais de Thiago.

 

Na Praça do Teatro Municipal de Guaramiranga, às 10h da manhã, a atração é o Projeto Miudinho, que apresenta “Ou Isto ou Aquilo”, um espetáculo musical educativo, para crianças de todas as idades, com poemas do livro homônimo de Cecília Meireles musicados por Celso Delneri. E tem também canções de Tarcísio Sardinha e Luizinho Duarte, uma homenagem aos dois grandes músicos que deixaram um importante legado para a cultura, especialmente do Ceará. Em cena, Bárbara Sena (voz e violão), Luiza Nobel (voz e percussão), Lu Basile (teclado), Mirele Alencar (contrabaixo e direção de ensaios) e Ayla Lemos (bateria), destacando a presença feminina na música brasileira, além dos atores Fernando Cattony e Castro Segundo.

 

Ações formativas e ambientais

 

A exemplo das edições anteriores, o festival contará também com uma série de atividades formativas, que serão realizadas em Guaramiranga e, após o período de programação serrana, em Juazeiro do Norte e Fortaleza. Ações ambientais também fazem parte do DNA do evento, iniciando com blitz ecológica de boas-vindas. Estas atividades serão detalhadas em breve.
