Segue em cartaz, até o dia 31 de agosto, a exposição em alusão aos 100 anos de nascimento de Antônio Bandeira, na Secretaria Municipal de Turismo e Cultura de Caucaia, que fica no Centro de Apoio ao Turismo. A mostra faz parte do projeto Bandeira nas Escolas que teve início em abril deste ano e já esteve em São Gonçalo do Amarante e Maracanaú.

A mostra conta com reproduções de 20 obras de Antônio Bandeira, um dos mais importantes pintores brasileiros do século 20. Entre suas obras estão “Auto Retrato no espelho” (1945), “Amazonas guerreando” (1958) e “Cidade queimada de sol” (1959). Aberta ao público, a visitação pode ser feita de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 16h. Durante o período, a mostra recebe visitas de estudantes e docentes de escolas da cidade. O projeto conta também com uma revista didática sobre o pintor e sua obra.

O projeto Bandeira nas Escolas é uma realização da Via de Comunicação, Secretaria Especial da Cultura do Ministério do Turismo, com o apoio institucional da Prefeitura Municipal de Caucaia.
