O Shopping Iguatemi Bosque recebe, a partir do dia 8 de março, a maior exposição científica itinerante do Brasil, a ExperCiência. Com mais de 1 milhão de visitantes desde 2014, ela reúne diversas experiências práticas e educativas com o intuito de levar até o público uma fantástica viagem ao mundo da ciência. Criada pelo professor de Física Julio Abdalla, a ExperCiência apresenta a ciência de uma forma instigante e lúdica para crianças, jovens e adultos, com o intuito de despertar a curiosidade, transmitir conhecimentos básicos e conceitos da área de Ciências da Natureza.

“Será um grande espaço, onde as pessoas poderão se divertir com os amigos e a família, por meio de experiências divertidas. A atração ainda reúne ambientes incríveis para fotografar e filmar situações que parecem impossíveis e que chamam bastante a atenção das pessoas. A ExperCiência conta com uma grande sinergia com o público jovem”, explica Wellington Oliveira, superintendente do Iguatemi Bosque.

Atrações
As atrações da exposição são interativas e levam o público a uma curiosa viagem pelo mundo da ciência, que irá deixar as pessoas literalmente de cabelos em pé. É o que acontece com quem toca a esfera de Van der Graaff, que faz arrepiar os cabelos e permite compreender a eletrostática na prática. O Gerador de Van der Graaff é uma cúpula de metal, energizada por elétrons gerados por uma correia de borracha, que arrepia os cabelos ao eletrizar cargas da mesma polaridade.

Instalado em um espaço amplo, de aproximadamente 600m² ao todo, os visitantes podem explorar atrações como o poço gravitacional, que possibilita aos espectadores o lançamento de esferas que se movimentam em trajetória semelhante à dos planetas, luas e satélites; e as parabólicas, que permite ouvir de longe o que uma pessoa fala do outro lado, mesmo que distante e sem ligações elétricas ou amplificadores. Todas as atrações contam com placas informativas, que explicam o que está acontecendo, além de monitores treinados, que orientam o público sobre as peças.

“Desde quando me formei em física e comecei a lecionar, sempre me desafiei a tentar experienciar o conteúdo teórico aos alunos. Comecei uma jornada de visitas a museus de ciências pelo mundo, que já comemorou 30 anos, sempre entusiasmado com a possibilidade de oferecer no Brasil, as melhores experiências que os estudantes da Europa e EUA podiam acessar nesses museus. Foi nesse sentido que comecei a desenvolver experimentos para os meus alunos”, disse Julio Abdalla, criador e curador da ExperCiência.
