Museu da Imagem e do Som do Ceará retorna após carnaval com mostra artística, roda de capoeira e curso de audiovisual
Serão dois dias de mostra do Ateliê de Criação, envolvendo 18 projetos artísticos; programação também inclui roda de capoeira e curso de audiovisual com utilização de celular
O Museu da Imagem e do Som do Ceará realiza, após o carnaval, uma mostra artística do Ateliê de Criação “Daquilo que não sabemos que sabíamos”, uma das categorias do edital OCUPA MIS, lançado em 2022. Nos dias 24 e 25 de fevereiro (sexta e sábado), diversos espaços do Museu serão ocupados por 18 projetos artistas. No mesmo final de semana, acontece no domingo (26) uma roda de capoeira com o Mestre Urso Preto e o grupo Movimento de Integração Feminina de Capoeira do Ceará. Na área de formação, o MIS está com inscrições abertas até dia 28 para um curso de audiovisual utilizando o celular como ferramenta, a ser ministrado por Renata Fortes. Além disso, o Museu segue ainda com quatro exposições abertas de terça a domingo. Todas as atividades são gratuitas e abertas ao público. O MIS integra a Rede Pública de Equipamentos Culturais da Secretaria da Cultura do Estado do Ceará, com gestão parceira do Instituto Mirante de Cultura e Arte.
Ateliê de Criação “Daquilo que não sabemos que sabíamos”
Nos dias 24 e 25 de fevereiro (sexta e sábado), das 13h às 20h, acontece no MIS uma mostra com trabalhos de vários artistas participantes do Ateliê de Criação “Daquilo que não sabemos que sabíamos”, categoria do edital OCUPA MIS, lançado em 2022. Esta mostra será a abertura de processo de 17 pesquisas de criação e uma pesquisa curatorial, ocupando diversos espaços e telas do MIS, com diferentes linguagens e suportes.
De outubro de 2022 a fevereiro de 2023, o Ateliê de Criação reuniu artistas que, selecionados por meio do Edital, desenvolveram pesquisas de criação nas Artes Visuais e Sonoras e investigaram as relações entre arte, tecnologia e questões urgentes na contemporaneidade. O processo contou com a mediação dos artistas/pesquisadores Batman Zavareze, Hélio Menezes, Ana Raylander Martís dos Anjos, Junior Pimenta e Ana Cecília Soares, além do intercâmbio com a equipe do MIS.
A iniciativa foi um espaço de investigação e intercâmbio de experiências, com ênfase na transdisciplinaridade, buscando aproximar, diluir e questionar as fronteiras e barreiras existentes entre linguagens artísticas e outros campos do conhecimento, incentivando o hibridismo e as experimentações. O título do Ateliê de Criação “Daquilo que não sabemos que sabíamos” é inspirado em um texto do escritor Mia Couto.

O MIS recebe mais uma edição do “Vem vadiar no museu”, uma roda de capoeira conduzida por Mestre Urso Preto,do Centro Cultural de Capoeira Raízes Brasileiras. O momento contará com a participação do Movimento de Integração Feminina de Capoeira do Ceará, um coletivo que luta pela visibilidade e valorização da mulher nos espaços dentro e fora da capoeira, através de capacitações e oportunidades, objetivando o protagonismo feminino no meio artístico, cultural e social. A programação acontece no domingo (26), das 17h às 19h, na Praça do MIS.
Pensando no papel que os museus possuem de salvaguardar as memórias e patrimônios culturais, materiais e imateriais dentro da nossa sociedade, como uma ferramenta de mediação dessas atividades, o MIS acolhe e incentiva a manifestação da capoeira com uma roda aberta ao público, onde todos podem participar.
Sobre Mestre Urso Preto:
José Maria Pereira da Silva, que no mundo da capoeira é conhecido como Mestre Urso Preto, há vários anos trabalha realizando trabalho social com capoeira em alguns bairros de Fortaleza. Atualmente o grupo está situado na comunidade do Campo do América, na escola José Dias de Macedo, no bairro Meireles. O trabalho é realizado principalmente com crianças e adolescentes, onde um dos principais objetivos é transmitir através da capoeira, os valores da cultura e do esporte, tendo o respeito como principal base para todo o trabalho.
– Curso: Um minuto para uma imagem, com Renata Fortes
Até o dia 28/02, o MIS está com inscrições abertas para o curso “Um minuto para uma imagem”, a ser ministrado por Renata Fortes. A formação foi selecionada no edital OCUPA MIS e acontece de 7 a 9 de março, das 14h às 18h, no auditório do Museu. Estão sendo ofertadas 15 vagas e, de acordo com a política afirmativa do MIS, 20% das vagas são para pessoas autodeclaradas pretas, pardas, indígenas, quilombolas; 10% para pessoas autodeclaradas travestis, transexuais e transgêneras e 10% para pessoas com deficiência. O curso é voltado para qualquer pessoa com interesse em audiovisual, cinema e artes visuais e que possua noções básicas de uso da câmera no celular. As inscrições devem ser realizadas mediante este Formulário.
A oficina visa incentivar nos participantes a leitura crítica de imagens e contribuir para o desenvolvimento criativo na linguagem audiovisual e cinematográfica por meio do formato de minuto, tendo como principais referências/inspirações desse formato de criação a série da cineasta Agnès Varda intitulada “Um minuto para uma imagem” e festivais de cineminuto da América Latina, como o Festival do Minuto, plataforma nacional de difusão e fomento, atuante desde 1991. Serão investigadas desde a revisita a arquivos históricos e pessoais (como acervos de família) às possibilidades da criação de novas imagens, propondo direcionamentos para a articulação entre essas (imagens) e outros recursos do audiovisual, como som e montagem. Como meio de incentivo à democratização do fomento e acesso do audiovisual e do cinema, a oficina irá estimular o uso do celular enquanto meio de criação.
Sobre Renata Fortes:
Fotógrafa, artista visual, realizadora audiovisual (Vila das Artes – Realização em Audiovisual/2021), produtora cultural (Itaú Cultural) e comunicóloga (Comunicação Social – UFPI/2015), com especialização em Direitos Humanos (FAR/2017). Interessada em manifestações artísticas e culturais nas suas diversas linguagens, se dedica a esses campos de pesquisa e atuação desde 2015. Sua formação e experiência horizontal entregam diálogos entre o documental e o artístico. Além de fotógrafa (atividade na qual se dedica desde 2015) freelancer e artista visual, na realização audiovisual (desde 2017) também se dedica especialmente à Direção Fotográfica, possuindo contribuições em produções cinematográficas (curtas e longas, documentais e de ficção) e audiovisuais (videoclipes, webséries e vídeos institucionais), atuando principalmente como diretora/assistente de fotografia e fotógrafa still.
Exposições
O MIS estará fechado durante o carnaval (de 18 a 22/02), mas retorna na quinta-feira (23) com quatro exposições abertas.

Coragem
A obra, em formato de projeção imersiva, é resultado do Ateliê Imersivo “Mestre é quem de repente aprende”, realizado pelo MIS em julho de 2022 e conduzido pelo artista multimídia Batman Zavareze e equipe. A exposição é o resultado deste processo de formação e criação colaborativa que reuniu 44 pessoas em 40h/aula de imersão intensa. Em cartaz na sala imersiva (andar -2 do anexo) em dias e horários específicos (ver no Serviço).

“Horizontes Desejantes”
A exposição reúne imagens de 26 artistas cearenses na forma de um caleidoscópio onde múltiplos pontos de vista se encontram, se confundem e se complementam para, a partir desse conjunto, refletirmos sobre questões como: desejo e alteridade; desejo e intimidade; desejo, corpo, rito e transcendência; desejo, distopia e utopia; desejo e paisagem; desejo e memória; desejo e existência. Com curadoria de Alexandre Sequeira e Iana Soares, a exposição foi montada a partir de convocatória realizada pelo Fotofestival Solar em 2022. Em cartaz na sala imersiva (andar -2 do anexo) em dias e horários específicos (ver no Serviço).

“Ontem choveu no futuro”
Instalação imersiva concebida pelo artista Batman Zavareze, com projeções que se expandem para todas as superfícies da sala (paredes e chão), mergulhando o público em imagens e sons que buscam explorar várias perspectivas do Ceará, fazendo um passeio por fotografias, arte generativa, arte abstrata etc. Em cartaz na sala imersiva (andar -2 do anexo) em dias e horários específicos (ver no Serviço).

“Laboratório dos Sentidos”
Exposição interativa que oferece vários equipamentos para os visitantes manipularem e experimentarem conceitos relacionados à imagem e ao som. A curadoria é de André Scarlazzari. Para esse espaço, é organizada uma fila de espera, onde entram 20 pessoas a cada 30 minutos. A exposição funciona no casarão do MIS e abre de terça a domingo (ver horários no Serviço).
