Um dos momentos mais aguardados na Jornada Junina 2024 da Associação dos Cabeleireiros do Estado do Ceará (ACEC), ocorrido na última segunda-feira, 24 de junho, foi o corte Chanel ao vivo pelas mãos do mestre das tesouras, Gurgel do Amaral. O clima festivo desta época ganhou um toque especial por meio de um momento de aprendizado e qualificação. Voltada para profissionais da beleza, a programação contou, ainda, com um corte masculino “Fade Mullet” pelo barbeiro Luís Carneiro e a finalização do corte feminino com uma escova perfeita pelo cabeleireiro Josafá Neto.

Segundo o presidente da associação, Gurgel do Amaral, um bom profissional precisa dominar a técnica da mesma forma que precisa ter conhecimento teórico e até entender a história de um corte e suas releituras com o passar dos anos. No caso do Chanel, que remete à estilista Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, mais conhecida como Coco Chanel, o corte conquistou as mulheres na década de 1920 e até hoje faz sucesso. “No início, apenas cabelos lisos exibiam esse corte, mas de uns cinco anos para cá, cabelos ondulados e crespos passaram a aderir o modelo”, explica Gurgel.

No Brasil, continuou como Chanel, mas em outros países o mesmo corte leva o nome de “bob cut” ou apenas “bob”. Com mais de seis décadas de profissão, Gurgel do Amaral até hoje tem um público fiel que não arrisca cortar o cabelo com outro profissional, e essas mulheres ele também mantém a fidelidade, abrindo exceção somente para eventos como o da Jornada Junina, realizados pela ACEC. Sobre o corte Chanel, o cabeleireiro que sempre foi reconhecido no setor de beleza por suas inovações, contou que hoje já existe uma variação grande para esse corte, incluindo o assimétrico.

Quando começou na profissão, as tesouras profissionais só eram encontradas em São Paulo ou fora do Brasil, com o preço nas alturas. Então, utilizava-se por aqui a tesoura de cortar tecido. Ao longo de sua trajetória, Gurgel coleciona uma variedade enorme de tesouras, mas têm as suas preferidas, que é um conjunto de três tesouras pretas. Sobre as novidades lançadas para o setor, responsável por boa parte da movimentação na economia local e nacional, ele disse que mesmo que o profissional não utilize todas, o cliente gosta de ver que o salão tem. Por isso, a Feira Regional da Beleza, que terá a 32ª edição no mês de outubro, de 13 a 15, é uma excelente oportunidade para adquirir produtos e equipamentos modernos e com preços mais acessíveis para cabeleireiros, barbeiros, manicures, pedicures, depiladoras e epiladoras.

Já o corte masculino Fade Mullet foi realizado pelo barbeiro Luís Carneiro, que tem uma história de superação incrível. Ele, que está na profissão há seis anos e atualmente é professor na Associação dos Cabeleireiros, trabalha como mestre de obras, mesma função ocupada pelo pai. Chegou até a trabalhar em uma funerária durante a pandemia da Covid-19, pois não havia muitas oportunidades de emprego com tudo fechado, mas no início de 2023 abriu o seu próprio salão junto com a esposa, que é cabeleireira. Segundo ele, tanto o corte masculino como o feminino são complexos, mas a dificuldade maior, avalia, são as pessoas que fazem.

Sobre o corte que fez ao vivo na Jornada Junina da ACEC, ele explicou que esse estilo degradê fez muito sucesso nos anos 80, tendo como referência a dupla sertaneja Chitãozinho e Xororó. “É um cabelo baixo na frente e grande atrás. Mas, agora o corte está vindo repaginado da Europa, passando pelo punk e clássico. Como se vê, a barbearia é bem eclética por aqui. Temos cabelos grandes, curtos, pouco cabelo e até coloridos. Nos anos 90, o corte de cabelo era o do momento. Hoje, eu chego a cortar 10 cabelos diferentes em um único dia”, contou. Luís, que ministrará um novo curso para barbeiro iniciante na associação em julho, com 16 aulas teóricas e práticas, elogiou a apostila da ACEC, que é um material muito completo para quem deseja entrar na área da beleza.

Por fim, o cabeleireiro Josafá Neto, mostrou como uma boa escova faz a diferença após um corte de cabelo com processo químico. Há 40 anos na profissão, dos quais 35 anos na associação, ele começou como aluno e recentemente foi eleito vice-presidente da ACEC. O seu salão fica localizado no bairro de Fátima e sua cliente tem um perfil específico. São senhores que buscam pelo corte social, tradicional. No entanto, se aparecer uma demanda por um corte mais ousado, Josafá também está preparado para deixar o cliente feliz e satisfeito.
