A nova sede da IPEMED está localizada na Vicente Linhares, nº 500, Aldeota – Fortaleza. A Instituição atua na formação de médicos que prestam atendimentos especializados à população, são cursos de pós-graduação, com duração de dois anos, em oito especialidades: Cardiologia, Pediatria, Nutrologia, Endocrinologia, Dermatologia, Gastrologia, Psiquiatria e Geriatria.

O Instituto de Pesquisa e Ensino Médico (IPEMED), que integra o grupo Afya, maior ecossistema de educação em saúde e healthtechs do País. Possui matriz em Minas Gerais, e já investiu aproximadamente R$ 28 milhões em projetos de expansão e no lançamento de novos cursos de pós-graduação.

A capital cearense é uma das cidades na qual o IPEMED passou a atuar nesta nova frente de negócios, que foi inaugurada oficialmente na última quarta-feira (22), às 19h, na aldeota. Na oportunidade, o Diretor de Educação Continuada na Afya Educacional, André Raeli, palestrou sobre as principais tendências da formação médica e os desafios do mercado.

“A educação médica continuada está cada vez mais em alta. A pós-graduação, juntamente com a comprovação da prática e a submissão a uma prova aplicada das respectivas áreas médicas, é também um caminho para a titulação de especialista. Além disso, médicos que já são residentes têm a opção de buscar uma especialização complementar, sem necessariamente passar por uma nova residência”, ressalta André Raeli.
