Grupo de adolescentes autistas visita a Bienal do Livro em passeio terapêutico e reforça que a inclusão não é favor, é direito

A manhã e a tarde desta quinta-feira (10) na Bienal Internacional do Livro tiveram um momento especial de encontros marcados por inclusão, literatura e afetos. Um grupo de 22 adolescentes com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) passeou pelos corredores da feira de livros, participou de atividades da programação, visitou estandes, comprou livros e vivenciou uma atividade diferente nas suas rotinas. A ação fez parte de um passeio terapêutico promovido pelo Semear Eleva, clínica de intervenção comportamental especializada em atendimento a autistas.

A visita teve como foco promover, na prática, por meio da experiência de visitar um evento de grande porte, o desenvolvimento de habilidades sociais, sensoriais e cognitivas, além de evidenciar que pessoas com transtorno do espectro autista têm direito de ocupar o espaço que desejam e podem vivenciar a Bienal do Livro como uma atividade lúdica e ao mesmo tempo terapêutica.

Os adolescentes estiveram divididos em duas turmas. Uma com sete jovens visitou a Bienal pela manhã, a outra com 15 jovens fez o passeio no período da tarde. Todos estavam acompanhados de responsáveis e terapeutas. Os jovens tiveram a oportunidade de explorar o universo literário e cultural com liberdade, acolhimento e segurança.

Em depoimento, o psicólogo do Semear Eleva, Riksberg Cabral, responsável pelo grupo, comentou: “Um passeio como esse à Bienal mostra para esses jovens que eles também podem estar nos espaços públicos e privados, deixando claro que eles pertencem a esses espaços. Certamente foi um dia muito importante para eles, além do fato de que a ação ajuda para que mais pessoas possam compreender o autismo de maneira mais empática”.

A Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará mostra que a cultura pode – e deve – ser um espaço de inclusão. A presença dos jovens autista enriqueceu ainda mais o ambiente literário e cultural presente no evento, e reforçou que todos têm direito de vivenciar experiências culturais com liberdade, pertencimento e afeto.

Políticas Públicas para os autistas

Em dezembro de 2023, a lei nº 18.642 foi sancionada pelo Governador Elmano de Freitas e institui o Estatuto da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista no âmbito do estado do Ceará. A lei lista os direitos da pessoa com autismo, inclusive o que assegura o acesso à mobilidade, com a utilização de vagas reservadas a pessoas com deficiência em estacionamentos, com credencial confeccionada e fornecida pelo órgão de trânsito competente. A lei também sugere várias medidas que o poder público pode adotar, incluindo a realização de encontros, a elaboração de cartilhas educativas e o treinamento de profissionais nas áreas de saúde, assistência social e educação. Incluindo e reconhecendo pessoas com espectro autista como parte vital da sociedade.

A importância de leis voltadas para os direitos das pessoas com autismo também se dá como uma forma de correção histórica, levando em consideração que pessoas no espectro autista sempre existiram, mas que por muito tempo foram ignoradas ou invisibilizadas. Reconhecer e implementar políticas públicas é uma maneira de reparar uma dívida que a sociedade tem com essa parcela importante da população. A inclusão não é  favor, é direito.

 XV Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará

Com o tema “Das fogueiras ao fogo das palavras — Mulheres, resistência e literatura”, a XV Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará tem como foco principal debater a presença de mulheres na linguagem artística. O evento conta com curadoria de quatro importantes nomes: Sarah Diva Ipiranga, Amara Moira, nina rizzi e Trudruá Dorrico.

 

Gratuita, a programação acontece dos dias 4 a 13 de abril, no Centro de Eventos do Ceará, com atividades como palestras e shows, além da famosa feira do livro.
