Os clientes que passam pelo piso térreo do Shopping Benfica logo se deparam com os baús localizados próximos ao Espaço Cliente. Dentro deles, é possível ver diversos itens, como roupas, brinquedos, produtos de higiene, livros etc. São donativos que os próprios frequentadores fazem, com incentivo do empreendimento, que todo mês são destinados a instituições sociais. Trata-se do Projeto Solidariedade Permanente, iniciativa que não deixa de ser o reflexo do compromisso do Shopping Benfica com a responsabilidade social.

Adriana Meireles, coordenadora do Lar Batista, entidade social sem fins lucrativos que presta atendimento a crianças e adolescentes em situação de risco, também destaca a importância do Projeto para as instituições sociais que atuam na capital. “Somos mantidos apenas por doações e iniciativas como essa fazem toda a diferença na continuidade do nosso trabalho. Por isso que a gente pede que todos sigam com essa corrente do bem”, destaca.

Conforme explica Camila Garcia, gerente de marketing e responsabilidade social do Shopping Benfica, a ideia do Projeto Solidariedade Permanente vai além das doações que são realizadas pelos clientes. “O objetivo dessa iniciativa é também dar visibilidade às instituições, de modo que mais pessoas possam conhecer melhor o trabalho desenvolvido e contribuam com o que puder. Um cliente já veio aqui para doar uma cadeira de rodas. Independentemente do item, desde que esteja em bom estado, vai fazer uma enorme diferença na vida daqueles que mais precisam”, pontua.
