Com uma carreira artística que ultrapassa cinco décadas, Ednardo lança “Ednardo – Papel, Pele & Pulso” (Aura Edições Musicais, 2025). O livro expõe as diversas vertentes deste multiartista cearense, consagrado na música brasileira e com uma rica produção nos mais diversos campos das artes. Em Fortaleza, serão dois momentos de lançamento. O primeiro, no dia 15 de abril, às 18h, na Biblioteca Pública Estadual do Ceará – BECE, com uma conversa mediada por Luã Diógenes, coordenador editorial da publicação. O segundo, no Iate Clube no dia 17 de abril, data do aniversário do artista, celebrando seus 80 anos de vida. A publicação do livro tem patrocínio da Secretaria da Cultura do Ceará – Secult CE.
Ednardo começou em 2020 a trabalhar a ideia de publicar um livro, com uma abordagem intimista, que fosse além de uma publicação biográfica ou fonográfica, onde pudesse externar também sua verve em mergulhar e produzir em outros campos da cultura, como as artes visuais, expressas em pinturas, desenhos e fotografias, e a literatura, com suas crônicas, seus poemas e outras criações. Para isso, dividiu a tarefa com o jornalista Luã Diógenes, que se dedicou ao trabalho de pesquisa e narrativa biográfica, cabendo a Ednardo o tom mais poético do livro, presente em suas artes, muitas delas inéditas, e ao designer Rafael Limaverde a criação gráfica. Tudo sob a coordenação geral e produção executiva de Julia Limaverde.
“Ednardo – Papel, Pele & Pulso” é um convite a viajar pelo rico universo artístico de Ednardo, cuja obra transcende linguagens e gerações, oferecendo uma leitura envolvente e reveladora sobre seu extenso legado de luta na cultura brasileira.
O autor
Nascido em Fortaleza em 17 de abril de 1945, Ednardo surgiu na cena musical do país no início dos anos de 1970, fazendo parte de um movimento que ficou conhecido nacionalmente como Pessoal do Ceará, ao lado de outros ícones da música do estado, como Rodger Rogério, Téti, Amelinha, Belchior, Fagner e Fausto Nilo. É autor de composições como Terral, Pavão Mysteriozo, Longarinas, Artigo 26, Beira Mar, A Manga Rosa e Flora, entre as mais de 400 músicas e letras, distribuídas em discos originais e de compilações, trilhas musicais de cinema, teatro, vídeos e especiais de TV. Sua música atravessou fronteiras e cruzou oceanos, sendo tocada de forma espontânea em diversos países e continentes.
