A 5ª edição do CINE MIAU – Mostra Internacional Infantil de Audiovisual acontece de 12 de agosto a 03 de setembro, com circulação da mostra de curtas nacionais e internacionais por Fortaleza, São Gonçalo do Amarante, Morada Nova e Sobral, com sessões abertas ao público, além de exibição exclusiva para estudantes de escolas públicas.  A abertura acontece no dia 12 de agosto, às 18h30, no Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS), em Fortaleza, com a exibição do longa-metragem cearense “Pequenos Guerreiros”, da cineasta Bárbara Cariry, que estará presente no evento com as atrizes Georgina de Castro e Lara Ferreira para apresentar o enredo do filme. Antes, o público será recepcionado pelo DJ Miau.

Com o intuito de proporcionar às crianças a primeira experiência no cinema e contribuir para a formação educativo-cultural das novas gerações, nesta edição, o evento conta com 19 curtas de realizadores de oito países (Brasil, Canadá, Uruguai, Holanda, Dinamarca, Grécia, Alemanha e China). São produções audiovisuais de caráter educativo, que abordam, de forma divertida, temas como cidadania, família, diversidade, sustentabilidade, entre outros que dialogam com as diversas infâncias do Brasil e do mundo.

Segundo o curador e idealizador do Cine Miau, Osiel Gomes, no Brasil, existe uma Lei que inclui o cinema no currículo escolar. Porém, as escolas estão  longe de colocar em prática essa legislação. Por isso, é preciso criar meios para que o cinema seja um grande aliado da educação, visto que é possível aprender diferentes matérias pelo cinema e descobrir o cinema por meio dessas matérias. “As crianças hoje consomem cultura pelo celular. Eles acessam vídeos e games que buscam apenas por ‘likes’ ou seguidores. Precisamos oferecer outras experiências audiovisuais mais responsáveis”, completa Emídio Sanderson, produtor executivo do Cine Miau.

EXIBIÇÕES E DEBATES

Serão, ao todo, 60 sessões de cinema, sendo 13 em Fortaleza, 17 em São Gonçalo do Amarante, 11 em Morada Nova e 19 em Sobral. Desse total, a mostra promoverá 52 sessões exclusivas para alunos de escolas públicas e oito para o público em geral. A programação de exibição dos curtas-metragens está dividida em duas sessões: Sessão 01, que é destinada a crianças de 5 a 8 anos, e Sessão 02, para crianças de 9 a 12 anos.

O Cine Miau conta também com 10 debates em algumas escolas com a participação de profissionais do audiovisual. Além disso, nesta edição, tem estreia da gata Mia, amiga do DJ Miau, que juntos prometem animar as sessões de cinema em cada cidade. O 5º Cine Miau deverá alcançar um público de 12 mil pessoas. Toda a programação é gratuita!

EM FORTALEZA – Após abertura, realizada no dia 12, com sessão aberta ao público, no Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS), o Cine Miau segue com 12 sessões, pela manhã e tarde, às 9h e 14h30, exclusivas para estudantes de escolas públicas e projetos sociais em quatro espaços da capital: Cineteatro São Luiz (16/08), com libras e audiodescrição, no Cinema do Dragão do Mar (17/08), no Centro Cultural Bom Jardim (16 a 18/08) e no CEI Escola Infante Rosalina Rodrigues (18/08).

EM SÃO GONÇALO DO AMARANTE – A programação segue de forma simultânea em São Gonçalo do Amarante, com exibições de 14 a 22 de agosto. Nas escolas, as sessões ocorrerão de segunda a sexta-feira. Serão 14 sessões realizadas às 8h30 e 14h, na EEF Maria do Socorro Gouveia e na Escola Professora Alba Herculano, que fica na Praia da Taíba. E haverá três sessões abertas ao público: no dia 18, às 18h30, na ASFAP – Associação das Famílias do Pecém; no dia 19, às 19h30, na Praça Matriz do Pecém; e no dia 20, às 18h, na Associação Comunitária dos Moradores do Assentamento Rural do Novo Tapuio.

EM MORADA NOVA – Do Litoral Oeste do Ceará, o Cine Miau segue para o Vale do Jaguaribe, para realizar onze sessões de 21 a 26 de agosto, em Morada Nova. De segunda a sexta-feira (21 a 25/08) haverá 10 exibições para estudantes de escolas públicas, às 8h30 e 14h, no Centro de Educação Básica Coronel José Epifânio das Chagas. Já a sessão aberta ao público acontecerá no dia 26, às 19h no Anfiteatro José Maria de Brito.

EM SOBRAL – A circulação do Cine Miau pelo interior do Ceará encerra na região Norte do Estado, em Sobral. No município haverá exibições do dia 28 de agosto a 03 de setembro. Para escolas públicas, serão 16 sessões realizadas de 28 de agosto a 1° de setembro, às 9h e 14h, no Theatro São João e no Multicine Cinemas, do Sobral Shopping.

A programação conta também com exibição de dois curtas-metragens de ficção produzidos por crianças de duas escolas públicas de Sobral, que participaram das Oficinas de Cinema ministrada pelos cineastas Janaína Marques e Pablo Arellano. São eles: “Fuga sem fim” que foi produzido por alunos do 5⁰ ano da Escola Ermírio de Morais e “O fim do mundo” dos alunos do 6⁰ ano da Escola Osmar Sá Ponte. Ambos os filmes estão disponíveis no canal da Invento Produções Culturais no Youtube.

No município, serão realizadas três sessões abertas ao público, a partir das 19h, na Comunidade Escola Antenor Naspolini (01/09), no Boulevard do Arco (02/09), e na Escola José Parente Prado (03/09).

DEBATES – Escolas públicas das quatro cidades receberão debates sobre os filmes exibidos durante a mostra, com a mediação de realizadores audiovisuais. Destinada aos alunos que assistiram aos filmes, a conversa abordará aspectos relacionados às narrativas, bem como personagens, estética,  técnica e outras questões relacionadas ao fazer audiovisual. Serão, ao todo, 10 debates.

CARBONO ZERO – A Mostra levanta a bandeira em defesa do Meio Ambiente. O projeto está calculando a sua emissão de gases de efeito estufa e a neutralizará com a plantação de mudas de árvores nativas em áreas de reflorestamento no Ceará.

O Cine Miau é uma realização do Instituto Seara de Cultura e Desenvolvimento e do Ministério da Cultura, via Lei de Incentivo à Cultura.
