O Lar Amigos de Jesus será beneficiado com a arrecadação do primeiro Baile Atemporal promovido pelo Lions Clube Fortaleza Verdes Mares, através do seu Presidente Dr. Amazonílio Reis. A festa acontecerá no dia 16 de junho, a partir das 20h, no Náutico Atlético Cearense, e será animada por Márcio Campos e Banda, além do cover de Elvis Presley, Gerard Presley.

“A ideia é impactar a sociedade cearense com um evento diferenciado e atemporal, embalado pelos diversos ritmos musicais e com uma energia totalmente solidária em ajudar o Lar Amigos de Jesus na sua missão junto às crianças com câncer”, ressalta irmã Conceição, presidente do Lar.

Irmã Conceição ainda destaca que a festa beneficente precisa da ajuda da população na compra dos ingressos, na divulgação e através do patrocínio solidário. “A sociedade e os empresários que puderem contribuir financeiramente com este evento deverão entrar em contato com o Lar Amigos de Jesus. Toda contribuição será bem-vinda e ajudará a custear o pagamento da banda, gerador, segurança e demais despesas provenientes do baile”.

Os ingressos já estão à venda no Lar Amigos de Jesus, quem quiser adquirir pode se dirigir pessoalmente à instituição, localizada na Rua Ildefonso Albano, 3052 – Joaquim Távora, ou solicitar a entrega dos convites.

Toda a arrecadação do evento será destinada para a reforma dos 15 dormitórios, com troca de portas, pias, armários, luminárias, troca de camas, pintura em geral, reforma da parte hidráulica e elétrica, troca de sofás das salas de TV e de socialização.

Amazonílio Reis, presidente do Lions Clube Fortaleza diz que agradece a Deus por o chamar para servir aos seus semelhantes, sem intenções financeiras, políticas ou religiosas. “Se doares toda a tua riqueza e não tiveres amor, nada demais tereis feito, pois o amor é a essência da vida. Esse amor que tanto Jesus Cristo nos ensinou, o encontramos em muitos lugares, em muitas épocas, em muitos corações. Quem puder ajudar, sem dúvidas, fará a diferença na vida dessas crianças do Lar Amigos de Jesus” – afirma Amazonílio.

Márcio Campos iniciou na música muito cedo, quando ainda era criança. Gravou dois LP’s e tocou em vários eventos. Com o passar dos anos foi se destacando nas noites de Fortaleza e naturalmente foi entrando nos eventos sociais tocando apenas o teclado. Hoje é dono de uma das bandas mais conhecidas e requisitadas de Fortaleza, que se destaca pela animação e competência musical e proporciona ao evento um momento de muita alegria e descontração.

Gerardo Alves, mais conhecido como Gerard Presley é um cover cearense do americano Rei do Rock in Roll, Elvis Presley. Suas apresentações são conhecidas por serem bastantes diferentes de qualquer outro cover, porque além de cantar e encenar os shows do verdadeiro Elvis, ele de fato, faz a conexão e magia do show e deixa fluir todo o seu talento.
