A prefeitura de Fortaleza, por meio do gabinete da vice-prefeitura, realiza, de 02 a 04 de maio de 2023, a 3ª edição do Festival Mulheridades. O evento tem como objetivo promover o debate sobre igualdade de gênero e saúde das mulheres, a partir de rodas de conversa, palestras, campanhas de conscientização, e da valorização de profissionais, pesquisadoras, pensadoras, artistas e empreendedoras.
Idealizado pela Assessora Especial da pauta de Direitos Humanos da Vice Prefeitura de Fortaleza, Lucivânia Sousa, o Mulheridades é uma das ações que integram o conjunto de políticas afirmativas do município, voltadas para a promoção de pautas de grupos sociais historicamente vulnerabilizados, como, por exemplo, população indigena, mulheres, pessoas idosas, pessoas com deficiência, população negra, LGBTQUIAPN+, entre outros.
Sobre a 3ª edição
Nesta edição, o Grande Bom Jardim será agraciado, por meio da ocupação do Centro Cultural Canindezinho. Um equipamento cheio de vida e de oportunidades, que oferece à juventude da capital, a chance de edificar caminhos para a realização futura dos seus sonhos. Serão três dias de conversas, reflexões, oficinas, dança, leitura e partilha, com a expectativa de receber 2500 pessoas, distribuídas durante toda a programação.
Contemplando o Quinto ODS (Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável), a 3ª edição do Festival, terá, entre suas muitas novidades, a criação de 3 Eixos.
Sendo eles:
Assistência às mulheridades e suas famílias, promovendo a aproximação dos cidadãos a serviços, programas, projetos e benefícios para além dos equipamentos das redes de proteção, com apoio da Secretaria dos Direitos Humanos e Desenvolvimento Social (SDHDS).
Saúde das mulheridades: Fomentando assim a aproximação dos serviços de saúde, por meio de um acolhimento ainda mais humanizado na perspectiva de criar linhas de cuidado fora dos equipamentos da saúde, com apoio da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde (SMS).
Arte, cultura e lazer: Neste eixo, o objetivo do festival é possibilitar acesso à arte, cultura e lazer as mulheridades, suas famílias e a comunidade por intermédio do festival, com o apoio de Institutos e Secretaria de diversos setores da Prefeitura de Fortaleza.

A feira criativa, esse ano, acontece na quinta-feira (4), a partir das 16h, com a presença de empreendedoras da região, em parceria com o Cras Canindezinho,
Apresentações Artísticas:
A abertura do Festival conta com a apresentação do Espetáculo de Dança “Resistências, Afetos e Potências, quando uma mãe se movimenta, o mundo muda”, desenvolvido pelo Grupo de Dança do Cuca Pici.
Encerrando o evento, o Instituto Katiana Pena, criado dentro do Grande Bom Jardim, que atende, atualmente, centenas de crianças da comunidade, promovendo cultura através da dança, apresenta o Espetáculo “A favela é mulher, negra e travesti”.
