Natal de Carinho: Tijuca promove campanha de doação de alimentos para a SOPAI

A Tijuca Alimentos realiza a 4ª edição do Natal de Carinho, campanha solidária que tem como principal objetivo convidar empresas e pessoas interessadas para realizar doações a instituições de caridade. Nesta edição, a Tijuca decidiu ajudar a SOPAI Hospital Infantil, o maior hospital de pediatria do Brasil com 400 vagas e o único filantrópico de Fortaleza.

 

A Sociedade de Assistência e Proteção à Infância de Fortaleza (SOPAI) cuida da saúde de crianças e jovens de até 17 anos em situação de vulnerabilidade socioeconômica. A instituição, que atua desde 1959, conta com setor de acolhimento para bebês nascidos com sífilis, menores de idade com dependência química e transtorno mental, além de leitos exclusivos para crianças com doenças raras que precisam de aparelhos para sobreviver e profissionais especializados em autismo e déficit de atenção.

 

Ao todo, 93% dos atendimentos são destinados ao Sistema Único de Saúde, o SUS. Até agora, a instituição já fez cerca de 15 mil consultas e mais de 2.500 mil procedimentos cirúrgicos, além das 1.500 mil internações mensais que acontecem na unidade de saúde.
