No próximo dia 6 de abril, é celebrado o Dia Mundial da Atividade Física, momento essencial para conscientizar a população sobre os perigos da inatividade física. Dados da pesquisa Saúde e Trabalho, realizada pelo Serviço Social da Indústria (Sesi), mostrou que 52% dos brasileiros raramente ou nunca praticam atividades físicas. Entre os que fazem atividades físicas, 22% se exercitam diariamente, 13% pelo menos três vezes por semana e 8% pelo menos duas vezes semanais.

“A inatividade física é um problema sério de saúde pública, com graves consequências para o bem-estar individual e social. É fundamental que as pessoas entendam que a prática regular de atividade física é essencial para prevenir doenças, melhorar a qualidade de vida e aumentar a longevidade”, alerta Júlio César, coordenador técnico do Grupo AYO

De acordo com o profissional, a prática regular de exercícios também contribui para a saúde mental, ajudando a reduzir o estresse, a ansiedade e os sintomas de depressão. “Além disso, melhora o humor, a autoestima e a qualidade do sono”, pontua.

Segundo Júlio, a chave para uma vida mais saudável e ativa está em encontrar a atividade física que você realmente gosta. “Não existe uma fórmula mágica. O importante é encontrar algo que te motive e que você consiga incorporar na sua rotina”, afirma.
