As cores e a alegria do período mais aguardado pelos brasileiros já estão invadindo a capital cearense com os tradicionais pré-carnavais. Para quem pensa em customizar o abadá, 10 costureiras da Associação Arte e Costura do Vicente Pinzón estarão, a partir desta quarta-feira (8), em uma loja social de customização de abadás para atender aos foliões, no RioMar Fortaleza. O serviço funcionará até o dia 15 de fevereiro, de segunda a sábado das 10h às 22h, e aos domingos, das 13h às 21h. A loja fica localizada no Piso L1, em frente à Bauducco, em uma estrutura toda montada pelo shopping. Os valores da customização variam de acordo com o modelo, adereços e opções que o cliente escolher, entre R$35,00 a R$60,00. Toda a renda arrecadada será administrada e dividida entre o grupo de costureiras.
“Para nós é muito importante realizar esse trabalho, pois contribui com a nossa geração de renda, divulgação de nosso trabalho, nesse início de ano que é tão importante e desafiador para movimentar a economia”, afirma coordenadora da Associação Arte e Costura do Vicente Pinzón, dona Edneuza Reis.
A ação faz parte do projeto “Costuras Empreendedoras”, idealizado em 2018 pelo RioMar Fortaleza, e é realizado em parceria com o Instituto João Carlos Paes Mendonça de Compromisso Social (IJCPM), anualmente durante o Fortal. Agora, a parceria está sendo ampliada também para o período de pré-carnaval, devido a demanda crescente dos clientes em procurar pelo serviço em datas como essa. “Toda infraestrutura do local é cedida para as costureiras pelos shoppings. Por meio do projeto, elas encontram não somente um espaço, mas, principalmente, uma oportunidade para ampliar suas vendas, empreender, fidelizar clientes e apresentar suas habilidades para um público múltiplo e diverso”, destaca Edgard Cruz, Coordenador de Gestão e Articulação Social no Instituto JCPM em Fortaleza.

A Associação Arte e Costura foi criada em 2007 e é formada por 25 mulheres do Bairro Vicente Pinzón. O trabalho tem como foco o desenvolvimento profissional e iniciativas que gerem renda para as participantes. A partir de parcerias, a instituição promove formação voluntária em artesanato e costura, proporcionando autonomia financeira para mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade social, além de ações de conscientização quanto às questões da comunidade.
