Coral ensaia para abertura do 27° Ceará Natal de Luz

Já começaram os preparativos para o Ceará Natal de Luz, cuja 27ª edição vai acontecer de 17 de novembro de 2023 a 06 de janeiro de 2024. Verdadeiro ícone do evento, o Coral da Luz, inicia os ensaios a partir deste mês. O primeiro encontro das crianças e adolescentes da Associação Nossa Casa Mãe África, que fazem parte do coral, vai acontecer a partir deste sábado (16), das 9h às 11h, na sede da instituição, localizada no bairro Granja Lisboa, sob regência de Sislaine Simões.

No total, participam do Coral da Luz aproximadamente 150 crianças e adolescentes, que se revezam nas apresentações realizadas ao longo de todo o evento. Para fazer parte do grupo, elas precisam ser estudantes de escola pública ou ter bolsa integral na rede particular, manter notas na média e participar de teste de voz e presença cênica. Nesta edição, as tradicionais apresentações, que acontecem desde 2005, serão realizadas, diariamente, às 18h, no Hotel Excelsior, na Praça do Ferreira. Além disso, o público vai ter a chance de conferir a versão itinerante pelas ruas da cidade, totalizando 21 rotas.

Casa Mãe África

A Associação Nossa Casa Mãe África Estudos e Comunicação é uma organização não governamental, sem fins lucrativos fundada em 20 de julho de 2007. Atuando em comunidades de baixa renda no entorno do bairro Bom Jardim, atende uma média de 230 beneficiários em atividades culturais, formação profissional e campanhas de prevenção à saúde. São ofertados cursos profissionalizantes, incentivo à cultura, musicalização infantil, circo, teatro, desenho, capoeira, ensino de violão e flauta, leitura e interpretação de texto e sensibilização à preservação do meio ambiente com cursos direcionados ao tema.
