CLEAN UP DAY: Beach Park reúne mais de 300 voluntários em limpeza da praia em Aquiraz

Mais de 300 voluntários se uniram na manhã deste sábado (16/9), em Aquiraz/CE, para participar do Clean Up Day/Dia Mundial da Limpeza, recolhendo mais de 800 kg de resíduos sólidos.

A iniciativa, promovida pelo Beach Park, teve patrocínio da Solar, Golden Tecnologia, UPTime Solução em Manutenção e L2 Consultoria Ambiental e contou ainda com o apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Aquiraz/ Secretaria de Meio Ambiente (SEMAD), Capitania dos Portos do Ceará (CPCE) – Marinha do Brasil, Projeto Amigos do Mar, Movimento Kyte For The Ocean (K4TO), operadora Mar do Ceará e do Programa Bandeira Azul Aquiraz – Fase Piloto.

Ao longo da manhã do sábado, mergulhadores, voluntários da SEMAD, das empresas patrocinadoras, moradores do Porto das Dunas, Associação dos Esportes Radicais de Aquiraz, Associação de Preservação do Meio Ambiente e o Patrimônio Histórico, Educacional e Difusão da Cultura de Aquiraz promoveram uma limpeza pelos 4 km de extensão que vão do Golfville até a área de proteção ambiental do Rio Pacoti, incluindo limpeza subaquática com apoio da Capitania dos Portos do Ceará (CPCE) – Marinha do Brasil e operadora de mergulho Mar do Ceará.

“Estamos muito felizes em poder participar de ações relevantes como o Clean Up Day/Dia Mundial da Limpeza, que simboliza a necessidade de conscientização da sociedade sobre os impactos ao meio ambiente por conta do resíduo descartado incorretamente”, avalia Raissa Bisol, gerente de Sustentabilidade do Beach Park.

CLEAN UP DAY – No Brasil, o Clean Up Day/Dia Mundial da Limpeza é liderado pelo Instituto Limpa Brasil. Realizado no mesmo dia em mais de 191 países, a ação é um movimento cívico mundial que, desde 2018, une milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo para limpar o planeta em um único dia. Na sua sexta edição anual, o movimento já fez 71 milhões de pessoas saírem e limparem suas cidades, rios e comunidades dos resíduos.

PROGRAMA BANDEIRA AZUL – A iniciativa é considerada o maior prêmio ecológico internacional concedido às praias, marinas e embarcações de turismo. Para se qualificar, o município requerente deve atingir uma série de critérios com foco em gestão ambiental, qualidade da água, educação ambiental, segurança, serviços, turismo sustentável e responsabilidade social, que devem ser mantidos e comprovados anualmente.

A praia do Porto das Dunas/Aquiraz-CE faz parte da fase piloto da temporada 2023 do Programa Bandeira Azul. No município, o programa é conduzido pela Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Urbano (SEMAD) por meio de sua agenda de inovação e sustentabilidade (Inove Aqui/Prefeitura de Aquiraz).

Outra ação dentro do Programa Bandeira Azul Aquiraz – Fase Piloto foi uma gincana entre os alunos dos cursos profissionalizantes de Aquiraz, cursos de Edificações, Guia de Turismo, Eletrotécnica e Multimídia – promovida pelo Beach Park, Prefeitura de Aquiraz e Escola Estadual de Ensino Profissional Professora Alda Façanha. Entre os dias 11 e 15/9, os alunos fizeram a coleta de resíduos recicláveis na escola e nos arredores com mais de 4 toneladas de resíduos coletados – além de identificar e cadastrar catadores de resíduos da comunidade. A turma que mais pontuou ganhou um dia de diversão no Aqua Park.

MOVIMENTO K4TO –  A iniciativa Kite for the Ocean! é um movimento global para quebrar mais um recorde mundial de kitesurfe e engajar pessoas a manterem o Oceano livre de lixo. Para cada km velejado entre os dias 25 de agosto e 24 de setembro, e registrado no STRAVA, será retirado 1kg de lixo de ambientes costeiros (praias, oceano, estuários e drenagens de águas pluviais).
