Especialistas debatem planejamento urbano, políticas territoriais e experiências inovadoras para pensar cidades mais inclusivas e sustentáveis
Fortaleza recebe, no dia 26 de setembro, o Ciclo de Debates Urbanos, encontro que vai reunir especialistas nacionais e locais para discutir soluções para os desafios das cidades. O evento é promovido pelo Colegiado das Entidades Estaduais de Arquitetura e Urbanismo do Ceará (CEAU) — integrado pelo CAU/CE, AsBEA, IAB-Departamento do Ceará e FENEA —, apoio da Associação Brasileira de Ensino de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (ABEA) e acontece no auditório do SEBRAE, das 9h às 18h, com programação gratuita e aberta ao público.
A programação contempla temas como planejamento urbano participativo, políticas de desenvolvimento territorial, tecnologia em geoinformação, cidades responsivas e experiências locais transformadoras, sempre com foco em pensar cidades mais inclusivas, sustentáveis e voltadas às pessoas.
Entre os convidados estão nomes como Lia Parente (vice-presidente do IPPLAN), Murilo Cavalcanti (idealizador da Rede Compaz do Recife), Ana Clara Mourão (professora da UFMG e consultora da GE21 Geotecnologias), Luís Henrique (consultor do Instituto Cidades Responsivas do Grupo Ospa) e Clarissa Freitas (professora de Urbanismo da UFC).
O evento terá início às 9h com coffee de boas-vindas, seguido de cerimônia de abertura e uma programação que se estende até o fim da tarde, com a leitura da carta “Cidades para hoje e para o futuro: compromisso coletivo com Fortaleza”.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
