No ano de 2022 Fortaleza foi a cidade brasileira que mais registrou casos de chikungunya, arbovirose transmitida pelo mosquito Aedes aegypti. Ao todo foram 20,4 mil registros na Capital, segundo dados do Boletim Epidemiológico elaborado pela Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente (SINVSA), do Ministério da Saúde (MS).
Para que o feito não se repita este ano, a Associação das Administradoras de Condomínios do Estado do Ceará (Adconce) aconselha a intensificação dos esforços para combater a doença nos condomínios, com ações simples e eficientes que evitam a reprodução do mosquito transmissor.
“Assim como fizemos todo início de ano, com a chegada do período chuvoso no Estado, estamos orientando aos síndicos e administradoras de condomínios a adoção medidas para combater a proliferação de mosquitos transmissores nas áreas comuns dos condomínios”, afirma o presidente da Adconce, Marcus Melo.
De acordo com eles, essas ações incluem a inspeção de todas as instalações do condomínio, incluindo jardins e áreas comuns, para eliminar possíveis focos. Em locais como garagens, é recomendado o uso de telas de nylon nas bocas de ralo e de tampas que abrem e fecham, e fechar banheiros não utilizados diariamente. Na piscina, usar cloro adequadamente, limpar a borda, filtrar e controlar o PH da água também ajudam a combater o Aedes.
Para aumentar a conscientização, Marcus Melo afirma que é importante promover uma mobilização dentro do condomínio, com a utilização de cartazes, informativos e avisos no elevador e abordar o tema nas assembleias. Segundo ele, isso ajudará a levar informações para as unidades habitacionais e garantir que cada um esteja livre de focos de mosquito.
