A atleta cearense de jiu jitsu, Amanda Tubarão, de 18 anos, foi medalhista de ouro e de bronze no campeonato London International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023. A jovem competiu na categoria leve – 64kg, onde faturou o primeiro lugar, e absoluto (sem limite de peso), na qual ficou em terceiro. Já na etapa do AJP Tour International Brussels Belgium, a atleta conquistou mais um ouro, na categoria pro – 95kg.

Amanda Tubarão começou a competir com 16 anos, porém por conta da pandemia teve que parar os treinos. Mas agora voltou com tudo. “Desde quando comecei a treinar tive um sonho de ir além, de conquistar o mundo com o meu jiu jitsu. Este foi o meu primeiro ouro em competições internacionais e estou mega feliz. Agradeço a todos que me apoiam e me dão força para seguir com a minha missão”, destacou.

O diretor do Grupo Viper, Rodrigo Guilhon, ressalta o apoio ao esporte para construção de uma sociedade melhor. “Estamos muito orgulhosos da Amanda Tubarão, ela é um talento no esporte e tem o mundo para conquistar.
