Idealizada como um espaço de difusão, formação e produção de humor, que traz para o público criações artísticas coletivas com uma estética que passeia entre a comicidade e o grotesco, a Casa Bufa ocupa, neste mês de dezembro, o Hub Cultural Porto Dragão, espaço da Rede Pública de Equipamentos Culturais da Secretaria da Cultura do Ceará, gerido em parceria com o Instituto Dragão do Mar, com os espetáculos “Eduardo: O Rei das Praças” (6 a 8 de dezembro) e “Baile Bufa” (13 a 15 de dezembro).
As temporadas de apresentações ocorrem nos dois primeiros finais de semana do mês (sextas, sábados e domingos), com ingressos entre R$20 e R$10 que estão disponíveis no Sympla do Hub Porto Dragão e na bilheteria do teatro. As apresentações das sextas-feiras contam com acessibilidade em libras.
O coletivo também realiza, no dia 11 de dezembro, o I Encontro de Bufonaria da Casa Bufa, que vai contar com o lançamento de uma plataforma para conectar os mais diversos agentes da bufonaria em todo país.

Temporada “Eduardo: O Rei das Praças”
Apresentado no primeiro final de semana do mês, o espetáculo realiza em um mergulho poético na trajetória de Eduardo Show da Vida, um dos maiores artistas de rua do país. Através de memórias, imagens e sonhos, o espetáculo – narrado pelo próprio Eduardo – apresenta outras faces do artista, que tem a vida dedicada ao riso e a troca sincera com o seu público. Em cena, os quarenta anos de estrada se apresentam como uma celebração à sua vida, carreira, mas também a todos os artistas de rua que insistem nesse ofício milenar de ocupar o espaço público com o que sabem fazer de melhor, encantar e resistir. A montagem conta com o apoio do Edital Funarte Retomada Circo 2023.
Ação Integrada “I Encontro de Bufonaria da Casa Bufa”
O evento gratuito marca o lançamento da Plataforma Casa Bufa, ferramenta que tem como uma de suas premissas a articulação e a conectividade entre os mais diversos agentes que atuam com a linguagem da bufonaria no país. Por meio de formulário online, busca construir um mapeamento desses artistas, pesquisadores, grupos e companhias com o intuito de promover uma rede de conexões e fomentar diálogos possíveis em torno das produções contemporâneas com a linguagem, seja no campo da criação artística e/ou na produção de conhecimento que pode ou não estar vinculada a instituições formais de ensino. O mapeamento busca também identificar o perfil das pessoas que vem atuando com a bufonaria e as suas urgências. A plataforma deve funcionar como um espaço virtual para auxiliar, fortalecer e conectar artistas e pesquisadores, com videoteca, biblioteca, fóruns de debate, formações entre outras ações.
Temporada “Baile Bufa”
Com apresentações nos dias 13, 14 e 15 de dezembro, a peça tem como ideia central explorar a bufonaria, estilo teatral que explora o humor exagerado, zombeteiro e que pode ser até mesmo grotesco. São utilizados também elementos físicos e visuais para construir sátiras sociais e políticas. A origem da bufonaria remonta tradições antigas de palhaços e bobos da corte.
Todas as atividades integram a programação de Ocupação Artística do Hub Cultural Porto Dragão, programa que visa mapear e apresentar um panorama da produção artística cearense e ocupar com atividades culturais os espaços do equipamento e o seu entorno. Em 2024, a chamada de Ocupação Artística do equipamento contempla as linguagens de artes integradas, áreas técnicas, circo, cultura popular tradicional, dança, música, performance e teatro.
