Há menos de uma semana para o Fortal 2023, é hora de começar os preparativos para a festa. Para quem pensa em customizar o abadá, 25 costureiras da Associação Arte e Costura do Vicente Pinzón estão, a partir desta terça-feira (18), em uma loja social de customização de abadás para atender aos foliões. O serviço funciona no RioMar Fortaleza até o dia 23 de julho, de terça-feira a sábado das 10h às 22h, e no domingo das 13h às 21h, no Piso L1, próximo à Praça de Eventos Central. Toda a renda arrecadada será administrada e dividida entre as mulheres da Associação.
A ação é fruto do projeto “Costuras Empreendedoras”, realizado pelo Instituto João Carlos Paes Mendonça de Compromisso Social (ICPM), que reuniu as costureiras no início do mês de julho para uma semana de ações de qualificação com cursos e aulas para prepará-las para receber os clientes no espaço, cedido gratuitamente pelo shopping. Na ocasião, elas aprenderam noções de moda, combinação de acessórios, design, criatividade, empreendedorismo, exposição dos produtos, marketing, entre outros conhecimentos. O treinamento, ministrado pela modista, modelista e costureira Vaneska Rebouças, ocorreu na sede do IJCPM, no bairro Papicu.
Esta é a quarta edição do projeto, que vem se destacando ano a ano entre os frequentadores do shopping, o que, segundo a coordenadora da Associação Arte e Costura do Vicente Pinzón, Edneuza Reis, confirma a credibilidade e o bom trabalho realizado por elas. “A gente faz o nosso melhor e se sente reconhecida, a renda do Fortal é a maior que a gente tem durante o ano inteiro”. A expectativa para esse ano, reforça, é a melhor possível. “Esperamos atingir nossa meta e deixar nosso cliente satisfeito!”.
Para o coordenador do Instituto JCPM em Fortaleza, Edgard Cruz: “Essa iniciativa é uma forma do Instituto JCPM estimular o empreendedorismo social e ajudar essas mulheres a garantirem uma renda extra”.
Costureiras Empreendedoras e Geração de Renda
Muito mais que transformar a peça, ao customizar o abadá no local o folião contribui diretamente para geração de renda das mulheres participantes, que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade social. “Para nós é muito importante fazer parte já que o Fortal é um evento grande que envolve geração de renda e turismo em toda a cidade”, destaca Edneuza Reis.
Sobre a Associação do Vicente Pinzón
A Associação Arte e Costura foi criada em 2007 e é formada por 25 mulheres do Bairro Vicente Pinzón. O trabalho tem como foco o desenvolvimento profissional e iniciativas que gerem renda para as participantes. A partir de parcerias, a instituição promove formação voluntária em artesanato e costura, proporcionando autonomia financeira para mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade social, além de ações de conscientização quanto às questões da comunidade.
