Especialista da XP dá dicas práticas para ajudar quem quer começar o ano com as contas em dia

O ano começou e muita gente já deve está organizando planos para 2026. Entre as resoluções mais buscadas pelas pessoas, segundo um levantamento realizado na internet, estão: uma vida saudável, a organização financeira e melhores condições de bem-estar no cotidiano.

A gestão das finanças pessoais é um pilar fundamental para o alcance das demais metas, pois destinará os recursos necessários para o desenvolvimento da saúde e do bem-estar.

De acordo com Wanádia Martins, assessora de investimentos da XP no Ceará, esse período de fim e começo de ano traz uma verdadeira avalanche de gastos extras — presentes de Natal, viagens, ceias e, logo em janeiro, as contas clássicas de começo de ciclo: IPVA, IPTU, material e matrícula escolar – e é preciso se planejar para não perder o esforço do ano ou comprometer a renda futura.

“Muita gente chega em janeiro já com o orçamento comprometido e acaba adiando sonhos por meses”, alerta Wanádia. “O segredo é planejar com antecedência: separar o que é essencial, antecipar as contas fixas de início de ano e proteger o dinheiro dos objetivos maiores. Quando a gente organiza antes, o ano novo realmente começa com energia para conquistas, e não correndo atrás de boletos”, completa.

Segundo pesquisa realizada pelo Serasa neste ano, entre as intenções dos brasileiros para 2025 estavam: pagar todas as contas em dia (49%), fazer um controle do orçamento mensal (38%), economizar um valor do salário todos os meses (29%), investir um percentual da renda mensal (21%) e limitar melhor os gastos com lazer (19%). Mas alguns desafios no primeiro semestre comprometeram o cumprimento dessas metas traçadas pelos entrevistados, como o aumento do custo de vida (29%), o acúmulo de dívidas com cartão de crédito e empréstimos (21%) e gastos inesperados com saúde (13%).

Para manter o foco e transformar esses desejos em realidade ao longo do ano, a especialista indica que o primeiro passo é parar, respirar fundo e fazer uma autoavaliação honesta da vida financeira.

“Abra o aplicativo do banco, pegue uma planilha ou até um caderno velho e liste tudo: quanto entra, quanto sai e para onde está indo cada real. Projete os próximos três meses, já incluindo a segunda parcela do 13º, se ela ainda vai cair. Só assim você enxerga o cenário real e consegue tomar decisões assertivas”, explica Wanádia Martins.

Ela reforça: “Pagar dívida é ótimo, mas se o pensamento continuar sendo ‘depois eu vejo’, em fevereiro você já vai dever de novo. O começo do ano é simbólico exatamente por isso: é o momento perfeito para fazer diferente, para quebrar ciclos viciosos”, afirma.

A seguir, a assessora de investimentos XP no Ceará compartilha dicas práticas e realistas para quem quer entrar em 2026 com o pé direito — e o orçamento no azul.

Identificar: O primeiro passo é saber exatamente para onde está indo o seu dinheiro. Liste todas as receitas e despesas dos últimos 30 ou 60 dias — nem que seja em um caderno ou planilha simples. Separe em três grupos: essenciais (moradia, comida, transporte), supérfluos (delivery, assinatura, cafezinho) e investimentos. “Muita gente se assusta quando vê que os ‘pequenos gastos invisíveis’ somam R$ 400, R$ 600 por mês”, alerta Martins.

Planejar: Adote um modelo simples, como o 70/30:

70% para viver o presente (contas + lazer consciente)

30% para o futuro (reserva de emergência + sonhos). “Comece com 10% da renda guardada por mês e vá subindo. Existem investimentos seguros com liquidez diária — perfeitos para reserva”, explica.

Controlar: Plano na gaveta não adianta. Controle diário evita compras por impulso e mantém o orçamento nos trilhos. “Consumo consciente é educação financeira na prática: ajuste o estilo de vida ao que você realmente pode pagar”, reforça a assessora da XP.

Investir: Com as contas no lugar, direcione o dinheiro que sobra para objetivos reais:

Curto prazo (até 1 ano): Tesouro Selic ou CDB com liquidez diária;

Médio prazo (2–5 anos): CDBs pós-fixados ou fundos multimercado;

Longo prazo: previdência privada (PGBL/VGBL) ou ações/ETFs “Todo sonho tem um investimento certo e a diversificação ajuda a proteger o patrimônio em diferentes cenários”, diz Wanádia.

Avaliar constantemente: Revise o orçamento todo mês (ou a cada 3 meses). A vida muda, o plano acompanha. “Sem consciência financeira, nenhum método funciona. Quando a gente sabe para onde o dinheiro vai, ele para de sumir”, conclui Wanádia Martins.
