Abertura da XV Bienal Internacional do Livro tem festa da tradição popular e anúncio de 10 mil vale-livros para professores do Estado

O anúncio foi feito pelo governador do Estado, Elmano de Freitas, nesta sexta-feira, durante a solenidade de abertura. Centenas de pessoas prestigiaram o evento, que contou com a presença de diversas autoridades. Confira os destaques da programação de sábado (05).

Começou nesta sexta-feira (04) a XV edição da Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará! A feira foi aberta ao público às 14h, reunindo 188 estandes, com 34 editoras, 25 livrarias e 32 distribuidores, além dos diversos espaços dedicados a atividades culturais. A cerimônia de abertura teve início às 20h, com destaque para o anúncio feito pelo Governador do Ceará, Elmano de Freitas, de 10 mil vale-livros para os professores da Rede Estadual de Ensino.

“Nós precisamos valorizar nossos professores e professoras para que, cada vez mais, se qualifiquem e tenham acesso à nossa produção literária”, destacou Elmano. O incentivo à compra de livros e material pedagógico é uma maneira de proporcionar aos educadores um acesso ampliado à literatura e obras atualizadas de diversas áreas, fortalecendo sua formação continuada e aprimorando as práticas pedagógicas em sala de aula.

 O governador lembrou que a iniciativa se soma aos 15.382 cardlivros distribuídos pela Prefeitura de Fortaleza para os professores da Rede Municipal. Cada professor contemplado receberá um crédito de até R$ 200 para a aquisição de livros nos estandes da Bienal. No total, os dois projetos significam um investimento de mais de R$ 5 milhões.

Abertura

A solenidade de abertura contou com a presença de diversas autoridades, incluindo o prefeito de Fortaleza, Evandro Leitão, as secretárias estaduais da Cultura, Luisa Cela, e da Educação, Eliana Estrela, e o secretário de Formação, Livro e Leitura do Ministério da Cultura, Fabiano Piúba. Também estiveram presentes o presidente do Instituto Mirante, Tiago Santana, e a presidenta do Instituto Dragão do Mar, Rachel Gadelha.

Subiram ainda ao palco da cerimônia nomes como o presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, Romeu Aldigueri, o Deputado Federal José Guimarães e a secretária da Cultura de Fortaleza, Helena Barbosa.

A secretária Luisa Cela destacou a dimensão e a variedade da programação da Bienal e o protagonismo na edição deste ano. “Essa decisão foi conectada com a agenda de visibilidade e afirmação política. As mulheres têm uma presença na literatura que por muitos anos foi interditada”, afirmou.

O representante do MinC, Fabiano Piúba, destacou a importância da Bienal do Ceará para a economia do livro e parabenizou o trabalho da curadoria. “Uma boa feira de livro, uma boa festa literária reúnem democratização de acesso ao livro, um ambiente de promoção da leitura e formação de leitores, mas também de promoção da literatura e da economia do livro”, reforçou.

Encerrando os pronunciamentos, o governador Elmano de Freitas destacou, por fim, a pertinência do tema da Bienal este ano, “Das fogueiras ao fogo das palavras: mulheres, resistência e literatura”. “Achei a frase absolutamente linda e forte. Diz muito para que a sociedade supere o machismo, supere as desigualdades. Mais uma vez as curadoras garantiram um posicionamento político correto da nossa Bienal”, concluiu.

O início da solenidade ficou a cargo do Grupo Afro Alagbará e o Ilé Axé Yeye Omin Iyó, que apresentou o espetáculo “Xirê Yabá – Nossas mães ancestrais”, com danças e músicas inspiradas nos terreiros e na religiosidade afro-brasileira. O Grupo destacou a força e liderança das mulheres na manutenção das tradições de matriz africana e na resistência de comunidades periféricas no País.

A música Indígena embalou, em seguida, a apresentação do coral “Nheengari Sambokar (Canto Livre)”, formado por 35 crianças da Escola Indígena Jenipapo-Kanindé, em Aquiraz. O grupo integra o projeto Tapera das Artes e interpretou canções da comunidade, incluindo músicas da Cacique Pequena, líder política e Mestre da Cultura, reconhecida em 2015.

Programação cultural

As atividades culturais da Bienal tiveram início às 17h, com uma homenagem feita na Praça do Cordel ao cordelista e ilustrador Arievaldo Viana, falecido em 2020, e ao cordelista e violeiro Lucas Evangelista, que nos deixou em janeiro passado. “O Arievaldo é um dos grandes nomes da nossa poesia popular, assim como o Lucas Evangelista, que era um dos nossos Mestres da Cultura”, destacou Klévisson Viana, coordenador do espaço, lembrando que os dois homenageados participaram de diversas edições da Bienal.

Às 18h30, o desfile “Iracemas: Mulheres à beira-luz” animou o público no Foyer Pavilhão Térreo – Oeste, dentro da programação Literatura e Moda. O desfile reuniu peças inspiradas na obra de José de Alencar e foi idealizado pelo produtor do evento DFB Festival, Cláudio Silveira, com peças de autoria de João Lobo.

Encerrando a noite, às 21h, a Arena Henriqueta Galeno, localizada no Pavilhão Térreo – Oeste, recebeu o show “Também Guardamos Pedras Aqui”, de Luiza Romão. A performance é inspirada em livro de mesmo nome vencedor do Prêmio Jabuti.

Sábado (05) na Bienal!

O segundo dia de Bienal Internacional do Livro começa já pela manhã, a partir das 9h, com lançamento de livros, mesas redondas, recitais, apresentações musicais, visitação escolar e atividades infantis.

Entre os destaques da manhã, estão as atividades do Espaço Bece, da Biblioteca Estadual do Ceará, com o lançamento, às 10h, da exposição “Receita para Colorir o Mundo”, reunindo criações de crianças de diversos bairros de Fortaleza, e a apresentação do espetáculo teatral “Pequenas Grandes Histórias”, às 11h, pelo grupo Avia de Teatro. No período da tarde será inaugurado, às 14h, o Espaço Cultura Alimentar, com participação de Selene Penaforte (EGSIDB) e Marina Araújo (Mercado AlimentaCE).

A literatura e o pensamento crítico entram em cena com os debates do espaço Mesa da Curadoria, no 1º Mezanino. Às 16h, as escritoras Andrea del Fuego e Socorro Acioli participam com o escritor, músico e diretor de cinema português Afonso Cruz, da mesa “O que podem as palavras? Narrativas na contemporaneidade”. Em seguida, às 20h, é a vez das escritoras cearenses Jarid Arraes e Auritha Tabajara participarem da mesa “O fogo e a água: palavras em travessia”.

Ao longo do dia serão lançados diversos livros, com a participação de autores. No Espaço Natércia Campos, da Secretaria da Cultura do Ceará (Pavilhão Térreo – Oeste), às 15h,  a escritora Araceli Sobreira lança “A mulher do Beija-flor”; às 17h, é a vez do livro “Sangue no olho d’água”, de Glória Diógenes, socióloga e professora da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC).

A história do Ceará é tema de quatro lançamentos, às 19h, na sala Carolina Maria de Jesus (1o Mezanino – Sala 08): a segunda edição de “Literatura no Ceará”, de Aila Sampaio; “Fortaleza escrita na praça”, de Ana Márcia Diógenes, Emanoelly Soares e Cris Rosa; “A ditadura no Ceará: um balanço historiográfico”, de Ana Rita Fonteles, Valderiza Menezes e Thiago de Sales Silva; e “Explosões conservadores: atendados de extrema-direita na abertura da ditadura civil-militar”, de Airton de Farias.

Na Feira do Cordel, além de recitais ao longo de todo o dia, serão lançados livros como ‘Dicionário de Rimas e Palavras Afins’, às 11h, de Lucarocas, e “Belchior, a construção de um mito na literatura de cordel”, às 16h, do jornalista e pesquisador Alberto Perdigão.

Duas apresentações musicais marcam a programação do dia do Café Literário (Pavilhão Térreo – Oeste): às 18h30, o bluesman Felipe Cazaux recebe convidados para show em homenagem a Bob Dylan, músico norte-americano contemplado em 2016 com o prêmio Nobel de literatura; e às 20h30, o trio de cantautores Edinho Vilas Boas, Fernando Rosa e Juruviara apresentam o espetáculo “Pra se Misturar – Outras Fortalezas Musicais”.

A Bienal é uma realização do Ministério da Cultura (MinC) e do Governo do Ceará, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura (Secult), em parceria com o Instituto Dragão do Mar (ISoDM), via Lei Rouanet de Incentivo à Cultura. O evento conta com o patrocínio do Banco do Nordeste, Rede Itaú, Cagece e Cegás.
