Neste mês de junho, o Cine Ceará – Festival Ibero-americano de Cinema, um dos mais longevos festivais de cinema do Brasil, abre inscrições gratuitas para as mostras Competitiva Ibero-americana de Longa-metragem, Brasileira de Curta-metragem e Mostra Olhar do Ceará. A 35ª edição do evento acontecerá de 20 a 26 de setembro de 2025, e os interessados em participar da seleção das três principais mostras do festival poderão se inscrever de 02 de junho a 15 de julho de 2025, através do formulário que está disponível no site www.cineceara.com, onde também consta o regulamento.
Com acesso gratuito a toda a programação, o Cine Ceará ocupa um dos principais equipamentos culturais públicos do estado, o Cineteatro São Luiz, da Secretaria da Cultura do Ceará (Secult/CE), gerido pelo Instituto Dragão do Mar (IDM). Além de mostras competitivas, o festival realiza exibições especiais, mostras sociais, debates, homenagens, cursos, entre outras atividades.
MOSTRAS COM INSCRIÇÕES ABERTAS
A Mostra Competitiva Ibero-americana de Longa-metragem é direcionada a filmes de países da América Latina, Caribe, Portugal e Espanha, nos gêneros de animação, ficção, documentário ou híbrido. Os longas inscritos devem ter sido concluídos a partir de 2024, com duração mínima de 60 minutos.
A Competitiva Brasileira de Curta-metragem é aberta a filmes dos gêneros de ficção, documentário, animação ou híbrido, realizados por produtores e/ou diretores brasileiros ou radicados no país há mais de 03 (três) anos, com duração máxima de 25 minutos, concluídos a partir de 2024, que não tenham participado do processo seletivo de outras edições do Cine Ceará.
A Mostra Olhar do Ceará é aberta a produtoras ou diretores cearenses, residentes ou não no Ceará. Podem ser inscritos filmes de curta-metragem, de até 25 minutos, e longa-metragem com duração mínima de 60 minutos, concluídos a partir de 2024, nos gêneros de ficção, documentário, animação ou híbrido, que não tenham participado do processo seletivo de outras edições deste festival.
A exemplo das edições anteriores, a curadoria do Cine Ceará prioriza trabalhos inéditos e se identifica com ações de inclusão social, com isso reservará no mínimo 30% de participação para mulheres diretoras no conjunto das mostras competitivas. Todos os filmes selecionados deverão apresentar legenda descritiva para surdos e ensurdecidos, em idioma português, conforme determina o Ministério da Cultura.
CINE CEARÁ – Realizado anualmente desde 1991, quando foi lançado como Festival Vídeo Mostra Fortaleza, o Cine Ceará acontece de forma ininterrupta. Desde 2006, adotou seu formato atual, voltado para a exibição de produções da América Latina, Caribe, Portugal e Espanha.
O 35º Cine Ceará é uma realização do Ministério da Cultura, através da Secretaria do Audiovisual, da Associação Cultural Cine Ceará e da Bucanero Filmes. Tem o apoio institucional do Governo do Estado do Ceará, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura (Secult Ceará), e da Universidade Federal do Ceará, via Casa Amarela Eusélio Oliveira, além do apoio da Prefeitura de Fortaleza, por meio da Secretaria Municipal da Cultura (Secultfor). Conta ainda com o apoio do Porto do Pecém, através da Lei Rouanet. Tem patrocínio da Enel e Cegás através do Mecenato Estadual.
TROFÉU MUCURIPE
Dentre os participantes da Mostra Competitiva Ibero-americana de Longa-metragem, serão agraciados com o Troféu Mucuripe os vencedores nas categorias: Melhor Longa-metragem, Direção, Atuação Principal, Atuação Coadjuvante, Roteiro, Fotografia, Montagem, Trilha Sonora Original, Som, Direção de Arte e Prêmio da Crítica. O Melhor Longa, eleito pelo Júri Oficial da Competitiva Ibero-americana, receberá prêmio no valor de R$ 40 mil, a ser pago sob a forma de recursos para distribuição da obra no Brasil, dentro dos critérios do regulamento.
Na Mostra Competitiva Brasileira de Curta-metragem, o Troféu Mucuripe será concedido aos vencedores nas seguintes categorias: Melhor Curta-metragem, Direção, Roteiro e Prêmio da Crítica.
O Júri Oficial da Mostra Olhar do Ceará elegerá o Melhor Curta-metragem e Melhor Longa-metragem, que receberão o Troféu Mucuripe.
