VetMóvel realiza serviços veterinários no estacionamento do RioMar Kennedy
O VetMóvel, equipamento da Prefeitura de Fortaleza, realiza a partir dessa quinta-feira, dia 03 de outubro, serviços gratuitos veterinários no estacionamento do RioMar Kennedy (Av. Sargento Hermínio), atendendo os animais de estimação da população dos bairros do entorno. A unidade, que vai oferecer consultas, castrações e vacinação antirrábica, funcionará até o dia 1º de novembro, das 7h às 12h e das 13h às 16h.
Para a castração de cães e gatos no VetMóvel é preciso realizar um agendamento/cadastro pelo telefone 156 (opção 6) ou pelo site http://vetmovelfortaleza.com.br/ e aguardar a ligação da equipe da Coepa. No caso das consultas, a partir das 7h, são distribuídas fichas para atendimento por ordem de chegada.
É necessário levar RG, CPF e comprovante de endereço de Fortaleza para o atendimento. Cães devem estar com guia, coleira e focinheira, enquanto gatos precisam ser levados dentro de caixas de transporte adequadas.
Orientações para a vacinação
A vacina contra a raiva é condicionada à consulta e pode ser aplicada a partir dos quatro meses de idade, em cães e gatos, anualmente. Fêmeas não podem estar prenhes, lactantes ou no cio. É recomendado que o tutor tenha em mãos o cartão de vacinação do animal no ato da vacinação, mas, quem não possuir o documento recebe no local.

Criado em junho de 2018, o VetMóvel já ultrapassa 191 mil procedimentos realizados, entre castrações, consultas clínicas e vacinas antirrábicas aplicadas, exames de triagem para calazar e materiais educativos distribuídos. O projeto, gerenciado pela Coordenadoria Especial de Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Coepa), já passou por 61 bairros em todas as 12 regionais de Fortaleza.
