A artista e bordadeira Cândida Lopes, reconhecida por sua atuação na intersecção entre arte e território, está com inscrições abertas a um curso de iniciação ao bordado no CUCA José Walter, em Fortaleza. A iniciativa, voltada para a comunidade local, tem como objetivo principal estimular o empreendimento feminino e complementar as atividades já desenvolvidas no centro cultural.
Após visita técnica preparatória, as aulas terão início na próxima quarta-feira, dia 23 de abril, e se estenderão até o dia 25 do mesmo mês. O curso, com foco no bordado manual, busca proporcionar às participantes ferramentas para o desenvolvimento de habilidades criativas e a geração de renda. As inscrições podem ser feitas no próprio Cuca José Walter (R. 69, s/n – Pref. José Walter).
Cândida Lopes, com sua vasta experiência em projetos que valorizam o fazer manual como forma de expressão e resistência, conduzirá os encontros. A proposta é oferecer um espaço de aprendizado, troca de saberes e fortalecimento de vínculos entre as participantes.
O projeto integra o “Bordando Afetos”, que celebra o bordado como linguagem de memória, afeto e transformação social. A ação no CUCA José Walter reforça o papel do bordado como um gesto político e de pertencimento, promovendo o acolhimento e o empoderamento feminino.
Projeto selecionado no Edital para As Artes – Moda – LEI PAULO GUSTAVO 2023 com o apoio da Secretaria de Cultura de Fortaleza e a realização do Ministério da Cultura, Governo Federal, União e Reconstrução.
CÂNDIDA LOPES – Design de moda (UFC), comunicadora e bordadeira cearense. Esta como diretora de relacionamentos da Associação Ceará Design. Há mais de 20 anos no mundo da moda e em 2014 lançou a Cândida Autoral, marca própria, onde desenvolve peças que unem o linho e fibras naturais ao bordado, imprimindo sua identidade nas joias em prata de lei. Foi coordenadora de moda de algumas marcas cearenses; é consultora da marca Vai Maria do IPREDE; faz parte da diretoria da associação de design cearense; compõe o corpo de designers do projeto Renda gera renda da ALECE. Desfilou suas criações autorais em cinco edições do DFB Festival; atua no audiovisual como produtora e figurinista. Apresentou o programa de moda Hipermoderno e hoje comanda a insta série Papeando.
