Período de comidas típicas, bandeirinhas, forró e um colorido que é a cara do Ceará. A festa mais tradicional do nordeste, é esperada o ano inteiro. E o São João de Fortaleza traz uma das mais animadas festas juninas, e é reconhecida nacionalmente. As atrações de 2019 são as mais variadas, são artistas cearenses, atrações nacionais, espaço temático, além do concurso de quadrilhas.
A festa acontece entre os dias 21 e 23 de junho, no Aterro da Praia de Iracema. O evento é promovido pelo Sistema Verdes Mares, com o apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Fortaleza.
