Com abertura no dia 16 de maio, a exposição “Janelas Estranhas” reúne experimentações com pintura digital que dialogam com o espaço urbano e expansões da realidade
Se a pintura pode ser concebida como uma janela aberta através da qual o mundo se deixa ver, o trabalho do pintor cearense Arthur Câmara expande uma noção comum de realidade para um universo de constante instabilidade, com cores vibrantes e traços ruidosos. Em maio, o artista realiza sua primeira exposição individual, “Janelas Estranhas”, com curadoria de Solon Ribeiro e Leonardo Câmara. A abertura acontece no dia 16 de maio de 2026 (sábado), a partir das 17h, no Banco do Nordeste Cultural Fortaleza. O acesso é gratuito e aberto ao público.
Em “Janelas Estranhas”, o pintor investiga a potencialidade dos traços digitais, em um movimento que bebe de referências clássicas da pintura como o retrato e que, enfim, se desenvolve em imagens que habitam a fronteira: entre o humano e o animal, entre o real e o inventado, entre o pixel e a pincelada. A curadoria é assinada por Solon Ribeiro e Leonardo Câmara.
“Foi com a pintura à óleo que eu comecei meu percurso artístico, mas, mesmo com materiais mais tradicionais, experimentar com o ruído e a abstração sempre foi algo que me atraiu. As experimentações em mídias digitais vieram depois de um período trabalhando em uma agência de publicidade, um processo natural devido à proximidade com o computador. A liberdade da mídia digital me permitiu “viajar” na minha própria mente, devido à facilidade de criação e modificação rápida que o computador e o software oferecem. O diálogo das obras com questões sobre subjetividade, tecnologia e alienação também vem daí: como eu podia me expressar frente à realidade que me era apresentada e o mundo que eu vivia”, conta o artista.
A exposição inicia ainda nas ruas da cidade, com 40 lambe-lambes espalhados pelo centro de Fortaleza que adentram o espaço do BNB Cultural. Na Galeria Experimental, as 19 pinturas digitais impressas contribuem com as discussões sobre o espaço urbano, a arte contemporânea e a subjetividade dos sujeitos que os ocupam. A exposição segue em cartaz até 16 de julho de 2026, aberta para visitação de terça a sábado, das 10h às 19h.
“Os rostos impressos nos lambes dialogam com os transeuntes, podendo ser pensados como máscaras, totens ou retratos fotográficos. Eles não são inertes: carregam tormentos existenciais, causando um certo deslocamento em quem os encara. Esse espelho criado nos acusa e nos leva para uma outra experiência dentro da galeria, onde essas figuras operam no limite entre o humano e o animal, a razão e a alienação, a partir de abstrações e experimentações imagéticas”, comenta o curador Solon Ribeiro.
SOBRE O ARTISTA
Arthur Câmara é artista visual e pintor. Iniciou seu percurso na pintura em 2016 e desde então experimenta com técnicas que vão da pintura à óleo à pintura digital. Participou de exposições com o Coletivo MUVUCA entre 2016 e 2018. “Janelas Estranhas” (2026) é sua primeira exposição individual.
