A pesquisa estimativa da Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo (CNC) para as vendas no varejo relacionadas ao Natal projeta um volume de vendas que chega a R$ 72,71 bilhões em 2025, 2,1% maior do que o negociado na mesma data de 2024, quando o faturamento chegou a R$ 71,2 bilhões. Caso a estimativa seja confirmada, 2025 seria o melhor Natal para o comércio desde 2014, quando o varejo movimentou R$ 77,26 bilhões na mesma data. Os dados estão corrigidos pela inflação do período e foram divulgados pela CNC nesta quarta-feira, 3 de dezembro.

“Em um ano de desaceleração da economia e do comércio, a estimativa representa esperança para os varejistas, que podem compensar uma parte das dificuldades causadas pelo alto custo de acesso ao crédito e endividamento da população no Brasil ao longo de 2025. Esperamos entrar em 2026 com bons resultados para os comerciantes e boas festas em todos os lares brasileiros”, afirma o presidente do Sistema CNC-Sesc-Senac, José Roberto Tadros.

Para quem procura oportunidade profissional na área do varejo, a projeção de contratações temporárias para o setor também é animadora. Enquanto o faturamento deve crescer 2,1% em relação a 2024, a mesma pesquisa aponta um aumento de aproximadamente 5% na quantidade de vagas temporárias para o Natal de 2025 em comparação ao ano anterior: 107,1 mil pessoas foram contratadas para funções relacionadas a vendas natalinas em dezembro de 2024, enquanto, neste ano, 112,6 mil vagas devem ser oferecidas a trabalhadores temporários. Além disso, empresários estimam que 11% desta população (12,1 mil pessoas) deve ser efetivada, segundo a pesquisa.

“Esta variação positiva foi detectada ainda no Índice de Confiança do Empresário do Comércio (Icec) de novembro, pesquisa para a qual 70% dos comerciantes entrevistados afirmaram estar projetando contratações para o período de boas vendas que se inicia na Black Friday e vai até o Natal. Essas oportunidades podem gerar impacto positivo em curto e médio prazo, pois a estabilidade no baixo desemprego no País é um dos fatores necessários para melhorias na economia em 2026”, projeta o economista-chefe da CNC, Fabio Bentes.

Onde estão as oportunidades?
Quase metade dessas vagas deve ser aberta pelo setor de hiper e supermercados (49,42%), seguido por lojas de vestuário e calçados (22,58%) e utilidades domésticas e eletroeletrônicos (16,82%).

Os mercados e as lojas de vestuário e de calçados também lideram na projeção de faturamento, com R$ 31,51 bilhões  (43,3% do total) e R$ 22,82 bilhões (31,4%) de estimativas de vendas, respectivamente.

A remuneração média também cresce na estimativa dos comerciantes para o Natal, na comparação de 2025 com 2024: segundo a pesquisa da CNC, a remuneração média deve alcançar R$ 1.983,54, valor 7,4% maior do que o registrado nas vagas temporárias do ano anterior — 2,7% acima da inflação acumulada nos últimos 12 meses.

Impacto no bolso dos consumidores
A variação média de preços da cesta típica de produtos relacionados à data aponta um aumento de 2,5% diante dos preços encontrados no Natal de 2024. O maior aumento do custo dos presentes é projetado para itens como joias e bijuterias (+20,5%), artigos de maquiagem (+8,4%) e livros (+7,2%), enquanto aparelhos telefônicos (-7,2%), TVs, aparelhos de som e de informática (-4,5%) e vinhos (-1,2%) devem ficar mais baratos do que em 2024.
