O evento é gratuito e acontece no dia 26 de janeiro no auditório do Hotel Sonata, em Fortaleza

Fortaleza entra no centro do debate sobre inovação em saúde pública no dia 26 de janeiro de 2026, com a realização do seminário “Saúde no Ceará em Foco: Inovações na Doação de Órgãos e Tecidos”, promovido pelo Instituto Banco de Olhos do Ceará (IBOC). O evento é gratuito e acontece no auditório do Hotel Sonata, na Praia de Iracema, em formato híbrido, com transmissão ao vivo pelo YouTube, e tem inscrições abertas para profissionais da saúde, estudantes e áreas afins.

A iniciativa conta com parceria da Secretaria da Saúde do Ceará (Sesa) e da Secretaria da Segurança Pública e Defesa Social do Estado (SSPDS/CE), fortalecendo a integração entre poder público e sociedade civil para ampliar a conscientização sobre a doação de órgãos e tecidos, reduzir filas de espera para transplantes e qualificar o acolhimento às famílias de doadores.

Segundo a presidente do IBOC, Marineuza Rocha Memória, o seminário marca um passo estratégico para o estado. “Estamos unindo conhecimento técnico, inovação e sensibilidade humana para fortalecer a cultura da doação no Ceará. Essa parceria com o Estado e com a PEFOCE é fundamental para dar escala às ações e transformar o nosso trabalho em referência para todo o Brasil”, destaca.

A programação inclui palestras, mesas-redondas e atividades de conscientização, com foco em temas como inovação nos processos de doação, mobilização social e boas práticas de acolhimento ao luto, especialmente voltadas a profissionais da saúde e da assistência social. A expectativa é reunir mais de 200 participantes presenciais, além de alcançar entre 100 e 300 espectadores online.

A doação de órgãos e tecidos é considerada uma questão prioritária de saúde pública, com impactos sociais e econômicos relevantes, ao melhorar a qualidade de vida de pacientes transplantados e reduzir custos com tratamentos prolongados. O seminário também busca consolidar o Ceará como centro de referência nacional nessa área altamente especializada.

Este será o primeiro seminário de grande porte promovido pelo IBOC, que já atua regularmente com palestras em cursos técnicos e superiores da área da saúde, em parceria com instituições públicas e privadas. O conteúdo transmitido ficará disponível online, ampliando o alcance do debate e permitindo a difusão do case de sucesso do Ceará para outros estados.
