II Fórum ESG debate sustentabilidade e futuro das barracas durante Festival Gastronômico da Praia do Futuro

A nova edição do Festival Gastronômico da Praia do Futuro, que acontece de 13 a 23 de novembro de 2025, promove dentro da programação o II Fórum ESG para o Desenvolvimento das Barracas da Praia do Futuro, no dia 13 de novembro, às 14h30, na Barraca Marulho.

Com acesso gratuito, o encontro reúne representantes de entidades públicas e privadas para discutir estratégias de sustentabilidade, planejamento e preservação das barracas da Praia do Futuro, reconhecidas como Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro. A realização é da Associação dos Empresários da Praia do Futuro (AEPF) e marca a abertura oficial do festival, que segue até o dia 23 com programação gastronômica e cultural.

O Fórum será dividido em duas mesas temáticas. A primeira vem com o tema “Barracas da Praia do Futuro, Patrimônio Cultural do Brasil”, e contará com a participação de representantes do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN), Secretaria de Cultura de Fortaleza, AEPF, entre outros profissionais conhecedores do tema.

A segunda mesa, “Estratégias, Planejamento e Orçamento: os desafios das barracas da Praia do Futuro para 2026”, abordará políticas públicas, segurança e sustentabilidade econômica para o desenvolvimento do setor, com a participação de entidades municipais e estaduais das áreas de turismo, orçamento, segurança e meio ambiente. Participam desse encontro representantes do Corpo de Bombeiros, Batalhão de Polícia de Turismo, Secretaria do Turismo do Ceará, Secretaria de Turismo de Fortaleza, Instituto Povo do Mar e Secretaria de Orçamento de Fortaleza.

Continuidade e avanços

Em 2024, o I Fórum ESG resultou no avanço do debate sobre a valorização cultural e ambiental da Praia do Futuro, culminando no reconhecimento das barracas como Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro pela Lei nº 15.092/2025. Nesta nova edição, o foco é planejar ações concretas que conciliem o desenvolvimento sustentável, a atividade turística e a preservação do patrimônio.

O evento integra a programação de abertura do II Festival Gastronômico da Praia do Futuro – “Ser Tão Mar”, que celebra a fusão entre litoral e sertão na gastronomia cearense. A cerimônia oficial de abertura acontecerá às 17h30, com apresentações culturais e degustações de pratos participantes do festival.
