A Praia do Futuro, um dos principais cartões-postais e destinos turísticos de Fortaleza, se prepara para receber a segunda edição do Festival Praia do Futuro, que acontece de 13 a 23 de novembro de 2025, com o tema “Ser Tão Mar”. O evento reúne oficinas e palestras de capacitação.
Em 2025 o festival mergulha em uma proposta que ressalta a fusão de sabores e tradições. “Ser Tão Mar” evidencia a presença marcante da gastronomia do interior nos cardápios das barracas da Praia do Futuro, unindo peixes, crustáceos e frutos do mar a pratos típicos como baião de dois, carne de sol, queijo coalho e panelada. Essa mistura traduz o que há de mais autêntico na culinária fortalezense, a herança sertaneja que se mistura à vida à beira-mar.
O evento é uma realização da Associação dos Empresários da Praia do Futuro (AEPF) e tem como proposta valorizar as conexões culturais entre o litoral e o sertão, celebrando a força da gastronomia, do turismo e da cultura cearense.
O Festival
Com mais de 70 barracas distribuídas ao longo de 6 km de orla, a Praia do Futuro é um dos principais cartões-postais de Fortaleza e Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro (Lei nº 15.092/2025). Segundo a Fecomércio, o local recebe, em média, 660 mil turistas por ano, movimentando cerca de R$ 300 milhões anualmente, conforme dados da Associação das Empresas da Praia do Futuro (AEPF).
A praia é frequentada majoritariamente por público local e regional, cerca de 60% dos visitantes são de Fortaleza e do interior do Ceará. De acordo com a Secretaria de Turismo de Fortaleza, 99% dos turistas entrevistados afirmaram que indicariam e retornariam à Praia do Futuro, apontada ainda como o segundo ponto turístico mais citado da cidade, atrás apenas da Beira-Mar.
Na primeira edição, realizada em 2024, o Festival superou as expectativas, com mais de 5 mil pratos vendidos. Este ano o Festival Praia do Futuro busca reafirmar o papel das barracas como espaços de convivência, lazer e expressão cultural, unindo gastronomia e sustentabilidade em uma experiência que representa o verdadeiro sabor e espírito de Fortaleza.
Neste ano as atividades têm início no dia 13 de novembro, na Barraca Marulho, com o II Fórum ESG para o Desenvolvimento da Praia do Futuro, a partir das 14h30, reunindo líderes e especialistas para discutir sustentabilidade, inovação e boas práticas nas barracas locais.
Em seguida, às 17h30, acontece a Cerimônia Oficial de Abertura do Festival, com apresentações culturais e degustações de pratos inscritos. A noite segue com a apresentação do grupo Raízes Nordestinas e show do Grupo Os Maneiros.
Durante os onze dias de evento, o Festival integra gastronomia, artesanato, humor, música e dança, promovendo ações sociais e ambientais. As barracas participantes oferecerão pratos especiais e descontos, priorizando acessibilidade, segurança alimentar e práticas sustentáveis.
