Os idosos participantes das atividades do Instituto Chico Mota voltam a realizar o seu tradicional bailinho de Carnaval, o Chico Folia! A festa acontecerá na manhã desta quarta-feira, 26 de fevereiro, de 09h às 11h, na sede do Instituto Chico Mota, localizado na Rua Desembargador João Firmino, 66 – Montese. O evento é gratuito e aberto também a quem quiser participar.
Na programação, desfiles de fantasias, brincadeiras, sorteio de prêmios e a escolha do Rei e da Rainha do Carnaval. Tudo isso com muito confete, serpentina, fantasias ao som de frevo, samba e marchinha.
A atividade faz parte das ações socioculturais do Instituto Chico Mota, contribuindo também para a elevação da autoestima, proporcionando lazer e a confraternização entre os participantes, equipe e comunidade.
O Instituto Chico Mota, em atividade desde 2013, trabalha com inclusão cultural para a terceira idade, oferecendo diversas atividades gratuitas para o constante desenvolvimento pessoal do público idoso. São oficinas de Danças Circulares, Meditação, Canto Coral, Gaita, Teatro, Contação de História, Sanfona, Informática, Grupo Folclórico, Meditação, Teclado, entre outros.
