Nos dias 29 de março, 26 de abril e 31 de maio, Fortaleza será palco de três espetáculos inéditos para celebrar a música Armorial. Os Encontros Petrobras de Música Armorial, em conjunto com a Exposição Armorial 50 e os Diálogos Petrobras sobre Arte Armorial, compõem o conjunto de ações que homenageia os 55 anos do Movimento Armorial, criado por Ariano Suassuna (1927-2014).
Com apresentações especiais e gratuitas no Teatro Celina Queiroz, no Campus da Unifor, os Encontros Petrobras de Música Armorial reúnem grandes nomes da música armorial, trazendo a sonoridade da cultura popular em um equilíbrio único entre o erudito e o popular. A programação musical conta com coordenação geral e curadoria de Regina Rosa de Godoy, idealizadora da Mostra Movimento Armorial 50 anos, cuja exposição Armorial 50 está em exibição no Espaço Cultural Unifor até 29 de junho de 2025.
O Movimento Armorial se consolidou como um marco na história da arte brasileira, reconhecido por sua inovadora fusão entre as tradições populares e eruditas da cultura nacional, formando uma expressão artística autêntica e de grande importância.
Com o Patrocínio Oficial da Petrobras e a realização do Ministério da Cultura, por meio da Lei Federal de Incentivo à Cultura, o projeto ganhou novos contornos pelo Brasil em nova temporada no Nordeste, que se encerra em Fortaleza, com uma celebração que destaca a riqueza e o impacto do Movimento Armorial no cenário artístico nacional.
Os ingressos serão disponibilizados para retirada gratuita pelo público por meio da plataforma Sympla, mediante a ocupação do Teatro Celina Queiroz, que tem capacidade para 300 pessoas. Cada pessoa pode retirar até dois ingressos por apresentação.

A abertura do evento fica por conta da Orquestra Armorial do Cariri, que há mais de três décadas promove o diálogo entre jovens músicos e mestres da tradição do município de Juazeiro do Norte. Sob a direção musical de DiFreitas, o grupo leva ao palco a riqueza do patrimônio material e da tradição oral do Cariri, apresentando canções populares dos reisados, guerreiros e bandas cabaçais. Inspirada pela diversidade cultural da região, a Orquestra respira a armoricidade presente nas ruas, feiras, festas populares e religiosas do Cariri Cearense.
26/04/2025 – 19h | Duo Ana de Oliveira e Sérgio Raz & Camerata UNIFOR
Neste encontro inédito em Fortaleza, o Duo Ana de Oliveira e Sérgio Raz recebe no palco a Camerata UNIFOR, reverenciando os mestres da Música Armorial em um concerto que mescla sonoridades eruditas e populares. O duo, que surgiu em 2018 durante o MIMO Festival, possui dois álbuns elogiados: Carta de Amor e Outras Histórias (2019) e Armoriando (2023), este último lançado pelo Selo SESC. A apresentação contará com a participação da Camerata Unifor, orquestra de câmara da Fundação Edson Queiroz regida pelo maestro Marcus Vinicius Cardoso, que já se apresentou ao lado de nomes como Belchior, Waldonys e João Carlos Martins.

Encerrando os Encontros Petrobras de Música Armorial, o Quinteto da Paraíba e o Duo Sertão unem-se em um concerto que celebra a riqueza da música nordestina. O Quinteto da Paraíba, considerado um dos responsáveis pelo resgate do Movimento Armorial, é aclamado pela crítica nacional e internacional. O Duo Sertão, formado pelos professores e pesquisadores da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) Léo Meira (guitarra, viola e violão) e Xisto Medeiros (contrabaixo elétrico e acústico), explora a versatilidade da música brasileira, passeando por gêneros como baião, ciranda, frevo, choro e maracatu. O encontro dessas formações promete um espetáculo de musicalidade única.
