A 23ª edição do Festival Internacional de Dança de Fortaleza (Fendafor) inicia dia 29 de junho e segue até 9 de julho, no Theatro José de Alencar, com apresentações artísticas que prometem encantar o público. Coreógrafos, maitres e bailarinos de renome nacional e internacional participam do evento. O Cerimonial inicia às 18h30, no palco do jardim do Theatro, com a entrega dos troféus Fendafor e Guivalde Almeida. Na ocasião, Adriel Rocha e sua parceira Simony Sales abrem as apresentações com um mix de dança de salão.

No palco principal do Theatro, a plateia apreciará o espetáculo “Grenzen” (Bordas), da Companhia Tanztheater Baden da Suíça e coreografado pelo artista Gleidson Vigner. A mostra conta com a participação dos bailarinos Daria Reimann (Suiça), Marcos Bento (Suiça/Brasil), Anna Nowak (Alemanha) e com o intercâmbio dos cearenses Lizandra Paz, Renson Marques e Edson Lima. Também será exibido o espetáculo “Duna”, da Fortaleza Companhia de Dança, dirigido pela Associação das Academias de Dança do Ceará.

As idealizadoras do festival, Janne Ruth e Atenita Kaira, destacam o evento como um momento único de troca de experiências e valorização da dança nordestina. “O dia 29 será marcado por apresentações incríveis com a participação das bailarinas campeãs do Grand Prix Internacional de Dança (GPID) 2023, a cearense Júlia Cabral e as potiguares Bruna Magalhães e Ingrid Galdino dançarão um solo. O Fendafor é esse mosaico agregador que une diversas culturas, talentos e estilos, mostrando-se a cada ano como um evento grandioso e rico artisticamente”, comemora Janne.

Um dos destaques do festival nesta edição será a semifinal brasileira do American Grand Prix (YAGP), que acontece pela primeira vez em Fortaleza e em parceria com o Fendafor, como destaca Kaira: “Esta é uma grande conquista para o nosso estado, pois como o Fendafor conta com muitos bailarinos, a maioria do Norte e Nordeste, essa é uma grande oportunidade para eles participarem também da seletiva no Ceará, sem mais custos com deslocamento para o Sul ou Centro Oeste do país, como era antes. O YAGP Fortaleza já é a seletiva para as finais nos Estados Unidos”, explica.

Ao longo dos dias, cerca de 3400 artistas passarão pelo palco do TJA. Serão apresentações e competições em diversos gêneros como Jazz, Ballet Clássico Livre, Danças Populares, Sapateado, Danças Urbanas, de Salão, do Ventre entre outras modalidades. As premiações serão bonificações em dinheiro, bolsas de estudo em renomadas escolas de dança, passagens aéreas e participação em festivais nacionais e internacionais.

Na oportunidade, o festival apresentará o espetáculo “Marmenino” do Studio de Dança Mainara Albuquerque e coreografado por Jefferson Oliveira; Além das apresentações da Companhia Rosana Pucci com o “Imaculado – Entre o corpo e a fé”, do artista Cid Neto; e da Companhia de Dança Janne Ruth com o espetáculo “Amores Antigos”, da Coreógrafa Lizandra Paz, que será dançado pelo primeiro bailarino do Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Cícero Gomes.

As atividades de mostra de dança ofertadas pelo Fendafor para os bailarinos cearenses são gratuitas, isso permite que artistas de baixa renda tenham a oportunidade de participar e conhecer de perto a fantástica engenharia do mundo da dança.

A estreia, dia 29 de junho, será aberta ao público. Os ingressos para acompanhar as mostras de dança e competitivas nos demais dias estão à venda através do WhatsApp (85) 99255-5853.  As organizadoras recomendam que os interessados adquiram seus ingressos antecipadamente, pois a procura é grande e espera-se uma lotação máxima durante todo o evento. A edição deste ano tem o apoio institucional da Secretaria de Juventude de Fortaleza e da Secretaria de Cultura do Governo do Estado do Ceará.
