Bailarinos, músicos, poetas e artistas visuais de Paracuru estão na programação do projeto “Paracuru em Cena”, que terá abertura no dia 21 de dezembro e acontecerá até o final de abril de 2023, no Município. Paracuru em Cena faz parte da Temporada de Arte Cearense – TAC 2022, realizada pelo Centro Cultural Companhia de Dança, em parceria com o Theatro José de Alencar. A TAC é uma ação da Rede Pública de Espaços e Equipamentos Culturais do Estado do Ceará (Rece) da Secretaria de Cultura do Estado do Ceará (Secult Ceará), em parceria com o Instituto Dragão do Mar (IDM).

O Centro Cultural Companhia de Dança é um equipamento cultural de Paracuru composto pelo Teatro David Linhares, espaço ao ar livre com capacidade para receber 400 espectadores; o Teatro de Bolso Adriano Araújo, que pode receber 60 pessoas; Espaço Alternativo, com capacidade para 200 pessoas, podendo abrigar exposições, lançamentos, pequenos shows e conferências; a Biblioteca Antônia Xavier, especializada em artigos e livros de dança; o Cineclube Nair e o Café D. Eliane.

A programação do Paracuru em Cena contará com apresentações de artistas e coletivos de artistas de dança e música de Paracuru, sarau de poesia, exposições e exibições de filmes de arte e documentários. Haverá também palestras com o público após cada apresentação, com o intuito de estimular a visão crítica. Entre as atrações do Paracuru em Cena estão Paracuru Cia de Dança, Banda de Música Mestre Pixuna, Escola de Dança de Paracuru, Coletivo de Poesia, artista plástico Neno Melo e fotógrafo Emílio Sanders. A curadoria da programação coube ao Coordenador Artístico do Centro Cultural Companhia de Dança, o bailarino Flávio Sampaio, idealizador do projeto.
