O Dia Nacional do Enfermo é celebrado no dia 14 de janeiro. A data foi criada em 2002 pelo Ministério da Saúde para fazer referência ao atendimento humanizado nas unidades de saúde. Um dos equipamentos da rede da Secretaria da Saúde do Ceará (Sesa) reconhecido por esse tipo de assistência é a Casa de Cuidados do Ceará (CCC). A estrutura foi inaugurada em 2021, durante a pandemia de covid-19, para atuar na desospitalização de pacientes com sequelas ou cronicamente dependentes.
O Dia Nacional do Enfermo busca sensibilizar profissionais da Saúde e a população para a importância de todos os tipos de cuidados direcionados a pessoas doentes, seja em uma unidade de saúde ou em casa.
A CCC recebe pacientes com alta hospitalar, mas que, por algum motivo, precisam de assistência antes de retornar ao lar. O objetivo do equipamento acompanha uma tendência mundial para a desospitalização precoce a fim de evitar a lotação em unidades hospitalares de emergência e, assim, liberar leitos para pessoas com diagnósticos mais severos.
A Casa atua de forma interdisciplinar – há profissionais de Medicina, Enfermagem, Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia, Nutrição, Psicologia, Terapia Ocupacional e Assistência Social. O atendimento segue um plano terapêutico individual com foco na qualidade de vida do paciente e na sua reintegração social.
Dentre os benefícios oferecidos pelo espaço, estão: otimização de leitos em unidades de maior complexidade; diminuição dos riscos de infecção; prevenção de novas hospitalizações; humanização no atendimento; assistência a familiares e treinamento de cuidadores.
Todo o trabalho desenvolvido na CCC vem sendo bem avaliado por familiares de pacientes. “A maior motivação para o cidadão procurar a Ouvidoria e elogiar o profissional são os sentimentos de acolhimento, empatia, gratidão”, destaca a ouvidora Ayana Alves. Somente em 2022, foram quase 100 manifestações positivas recebidas pelo setor.
