Design cearense é destaque em Feira Internacional, em Covilhã, Portugal

Entre os dias 31 de agosto e 3 de setembro deste ano, a Prefeitura de Fortaleza, por meio do Gabinete da vice-prefeitura, leva produções locais para exposição em Covilhã, Portugal. A ação integra a programação da Feira Internacional de Artesanato, Design e outras Artes (FIADA), que visa divulgar, preservar e valorizar o artesanato, dando evidência aos artesãos e ao Design, desde a concepção à comercialização dos seus produtos, salvaguardando saberes e técnicas tradicionais. O espaço expositivo da feira contemplará 10 criações cearenses que vão desde os sabores da nossa gastronomia, passando por acessórios, e vão até itens de decoração e mobiliário.

 

A FIADA é um lugar de encontros culturais, direcionado a todos os participantes e visitantes, com foco no cruzamento de saberes e competências de artesãos e designers, bem como na divulgação e sensibilização para a importância do seu trabalho. Acontece no Jardim das Artes, na Covilhã, durante o verão, período em que a cidade recebe muitos visitantes. A presença de Fortaleza no evento, eleva a visibilidade da sua identidade cultural, bem como amplia a divulgação da cidade enquanto destino turístico criativo.

 

Dentre os produtos selecionados para representar o design cearense em Portugal, estão:

Cadeira Caré de Leo Ferreiro, Luminária Tribo, Escultura Mole e Tapete de Érico Gondim,

Bolsas da Catarina Mina, Cerâmicas (xícaras e vasos) de Bianca Misino, Cerâmicas (Moringa e vaso) de Bone ceramics, Carteira e biojóias da Tropicana, peças de vestuário de Almerinda Maria, chocolates da Moa, Cafés Uritu, e cachaça da Ypióca.

 

Além da exposição de produtos de artesanato e design em stands, fazem parte do programa oficinas para artesãos, da responsabilidade de designers convidados, e um concurso que distinguirá o produto que represente Covilhã de forma mais criativa e identitária, bem como concertos/animação musical e gastronomia.

 

Fortaleza e Covilhã são cidades criativas do Design, integrantes da Rede de Cidades Criativas da UNESCO. Covilhã, em especial, destaca-se por sua notável tradição têxtil. O espaço expositivo foi cedido pela cidade de Covilhã como cortesia às cidades da Rede no Brasil. Além de Fortaleza, Brasília participa da exposição.
