A Praia do Futuro, um dos principais cartões-postais de Fortaleza, recebe entre os dias 13 e 23 de novembro de 2025 a segunda edição do Festival Gastronômico da Praia do Futuro, que este ano traz o tema “Ser Tão Mar”. A proposta destaca a fusão entre a culinária sertaneja e os sabores característicos do litoral, reforçando a identidade cultural da gastronomia fortalezense.
Em 2025, o festival mergulha em uma atmosfera que valoriza a tradição nordestina presente nos cardápios das barracas da região. O conceito “Ser Tão Mar” une peixes, crustáceos e frutos do mar a pratos icônicos como baião de dois, carne de sol, queijo coalho e panelada, criando uma experiência que reflete a herança sertaneja entrelaçada à vida à beira-mar.
Fórum ESG abre a programação
A abertura oficial do festival aconteceu no dia 13 de novembro, com o II Fórum ESG para o Desenvolvimento das Barracas da Praia do Futuro, realizado na Barraca Marulho. O evento, de acesso gratuito, reúne representantes de instituições públicas e privadas para discutir estratégias voltadas à sustentabilidade, preservação e planejamento das barracas — reconhecidas como Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro.
Promovido pela Associação dos Empresários da Praia do Futuro (AEPF), o fórum será dividido em duas mesas temáticas. A primeira, intitulada “Barracas da Praia do Futuro, Patrimônio Cultural do Brasil”, contará com representantes do IPHAN, Secretaria de Cultura de Fortaleza, AEPF e outros especialistas.
Gastronomia em foco
Durante o festival, pratos típicos ganham protagonismo. O chef José Cláudio, do restaurante Chico do Caranguejo, destaca o tradicional camarão na moranga, um dos sucessos da casa. “Trouxemos o camarão na moranga – prato tradicional aqui, que faz muito sucesso no restaurante”, afirma.
A presidente da AEPF, Fátima Queiroz, reforça o caráter acolhedor e festivo do evento.
“É um momento especial da Praia do Futuro, para convidar nossos clientes e todos que amam este lugar a se conectar com o festival. É uma mistura de sabores, tradições, música, sol, mar e a força da nossa terra. Vale a pena vir e conferir”, destaca.
Oportunidades para a comunidade
A programação também inclui ações voltadas à qualificação profissional e empregabilidade. A coordenadora do Trabalho e Qualificação do SINE/SDE Fortaleza, Christianne Estrela, anuncia o 2º Mutirão de Empregos do SINE, que será realizado no dia 19 de novembro, a partir das 8h30, na Barraca Marulho. “Serão diversas vagas para a população. Estamos aguardando vocês”, reforça.
Um evento que fortalece cultura, turismo e desenvolvimento
O Festival Gastronômico da Praia do Futuro consolida-se como uma iniciativa que vai além da celebração dos sabores. Ao unir tradição, qualificação profissional, sustentabilidade e fortalecimento das barracas . O evento estimula o turismo, movimenta a economia local e reforça o valor simbólico da Praia do Futuro como espaço de identidade, memória e convivência para fortalezenses e visitantes.
